Just to update the thread a bit.

-We haven’t picked a date yet,” manager Manny Acta said. “When he’s very comfortable down there (Arizona), we’ll pick a date. We have our training staff working really close with him.”

Damon, 38, began playing in extended spring training games Friday. He played seven innings in left field Monday.

Damon will likely head to Columbus before the end of the week and could join the Indians sometime during the first week of May.
