If anything they are protesting the Indians making them look bad with their shitty play year in and year out.
Rooting for another team because of a logo change?

I think the author made a mistake in acting like we have the only offensive logo or team name. However, let's not lose sight of the main question - is Chief Wahoo offensive or isn't it?

Serious question to those who don't see why people think Chief Wahoo is offensive...do you think this would be OK for a professional sports team's logo?

Their logo isn't a caricature, it's more of a drawing. All other native American logos aren't mocking their big nose and big grin. Chief Wahoo is very racist to answer your question.

I can just imagine the race riots and Rev. Al Sharpton speeches.

Lets be honest here. Of all the Cleveland teams I would say the Indians are most likely to never win a championship. I don't even like watching baseball anymore after all the heartbreak I've endured from watching the Indians. Dropping Wahoo to appease the protest groups would just be the last straw.

I'm sure the Indians won't mind you leaving then. You're like a chick...liking a team because of some puuurrty logo and colors.

I certainly wouldn't like any Cleveland sports team if thats what its about. I'm also pretty sure the only chick you know is the one letting you live in her basement.

Interesting...in my opinion they were the closest to winning one in recent memory. (Yes, I know the Cavs made the Finals, but they stood no chance against the Spurs. To this day I believe the Indians would have defeated the Rockies in 2007.)

I had tickets to two games, including a potential game 7. Still hurts.

    oh wow thats a doozy.

i just still can't believe we were up 3-1 and couldn't pull one out.

the Rockies were nothing special that year. World Series would have been a cakewalk.

I think that's a legit point huber made, actually.

The Redskins have a Native American as their logo too, and a much more offensive name than we do..

Their name is offensive, but their logo isn't.

Our logo is offensive, but our name isn't.

Both of their play is offensive.
