I think a trade down could be likely.....

    Would LOVE Minnesota's two 1sts.

I've said it before: this is the Browns time to capitalize... Ravens and Steelers are not going to be what they once were... Their key, cornerstone pieces are falling off the cliff or leaving and now they'll need to replace all of them, which is hard to do..

Most Raven fans agreed that Kruger was their best pass rusher this year, not Suggs. Big win for the Browns.

Good move: Browns sign linebacker Paul Kruger

This is the best signing of the day. It isn't even close.
The Browns getting Paul Kruger is what the late George Young used to call a devastating move. That's because the Browns not only got dramatically better in getting Kruger, they were also able to steal a key cog away from division rival Baltimore.
It doesn't get much better than that.
Kruger is a good player -- not a great one -- but very good and he's the kind of player free agency was meant for. He's young, talented and the kind of person a franchise can build its entire defense around.
I know from speaking with Ravens players and officials at the Super Bowl about Kruger there was a sense that losing him would hurt the Ravens almost as much as any free agent they've ever lost. That's how high some of the Ravens think of him.
The Ravens won't say that now but this is what they believed before he left.
And now he's in Cleveland as the Browns get the best free agent pickup of the day.

I feel like a low sack total is more so that QB's walk into sacks from other players from his pressures.

We also don't know what other pass rush guys we will add. We have Sheard, Groves is coming in for a visit, we have talked to Harrison, and we have the draft. Its not like Kruger will be alone. Sure we may not have Suggs, Lewis and Ngata, but Sheard, Rubin, Taylor, and Jackson are not crap.

    I'm reading such different things.

-Paul's a plug in play guy, benefited from the system.

-Played only 22 snaps in the superbowl. Took advantage against rookie tackles, 8 sacks.

-Not very good against the run.

-Browns are stupid and will cut him in 2 years.

    Typical things you'd expect though.

Also, name me another great LT besides Joe Thomas in the AFCN. Kruger no longer has to get blocked/chipped by the best technical LT in the game. This matters.

LB Dannell Ellerbe leaves the Super Bowl champs for a deal he could not refuse in Miami - 5yrs, $35M. Ravens very thin at LB now

Almost the same deal that Kruger received. Miami dished out 100 million to Wallace and Ellerbe today.

Continue to hear Dolphins "Dream Team" free agent class set to include TE Jared Cook. Other GMs believe he's theirs. STL, CLE also like him

FWIW I'd rather Long back than Cook, but either would excite me.
2014 Dream Draft as of 5/7
    19- Allen Robinson, WR, PSU
    50- Joel Bitonio, OT, Nevada
    71- Trai Turner, OG, LSU
    112- Preston Brown, ILB, Louisville
    143- Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue
    174- Kevin Pamphile, OT, Purdue

I'd really like to see them address guard and especially safety early on here too..

I really like Geoff Schwartz a lot and there's a lot of good safeties out there (Phillips, Quin, etc..) who could really help..
