Default What a Weekend in College Football!

#3, #4, #5, #7, #10, #11, #13, #21, #22 all lost...meanwhile, #6 was a fumble out of the end zone from losing, #1 came within an onside kick of losing, and #9 barely held off an unranked team.

#3 Oklahoma was shocked by Colorado 27-24.

#4 Florida is stunned by Auburn 20-17 on a last second field goal...twice (something the Browns and Raiders both failed to do).

#5 WVU is completely outplayed by #18 South Florida, 21-13.

#7 Texas gets hammered 41-21 by Kansas State.

#10 Rutgers loses to Maryland 34-24.

#11 Oregon was 2 sprays of stickum away from beating #6 Cal, but lost 31-24.

#13 Clemson manages just 3 points against Geogia Tech, losing 13-3.

#21 Penn State proves they aren't as good as they were ranked (ala Mich) losing 27-20 to Illinois.

#22 Alabama loses the battle of craptastic offenses to Florida State 21-14, where Bobby Bowden was finally awakened near the end of the 3rd quarter to pull the knife out of Dolphin fans' backs and stick it into the Saban voodoo doll.

Feel free to add your own cliche for a big upset!

At the rate this is going, it might be a Boston College vs South Florida BCS title game.

Hey James remember when you said a bunch of teams would have to a "HUGE HUGE letdown" for OSU to move up, and that it would never happen....yeahhhhh.

Even if OSU drops every remaining game, you were still very wrong. You said there were too many teams ahead of OSU for them to make the title game, under any circumstances. That's clearly not the case.

Cal won't be up there long...they always go 5-0 and finish the final 5 games going 2-3. It's like the sun coming up every morning..you know it's going to happen.
