Lets face it, having a couple legitimate players on the bench has been the difference since the trade. Speights is a legit 3rd big, Ellington is a great floor stretcher and has decent handles, Shaun Livingston is also showing that he can be a serviceable pg off the bench going forward.
My question and thought process going forward (assuming no trades are made) is one of, how much does giving a guy like Livingston a chance for signing him going forward? If Speights really wants to stay here, will $6M a year be a reasonable offer going forward? CJ Miles is what he is but do we hold on to him or pick up his contract as a 5th G?
What are you thoughts?
