karesev's passing is sick too...russian ginobili

Yea, Karesev...I think he's gonna demand more time with the starters the rest of the pre-season. His skills are very intriguing. I know Mike hates playing really young guys, but right now, he deserves a chance to take CJ Miles place.

Interesting, too, that some of the youngest guys played the best D. Not sure what that means but can't be a bad thing.

I'm not too familiar with the Magic's roster...did they not play any starters in the 4th quarter as well?

Bennett looked great in the 4th. Karasev though looked nice. Great passing and 7 points 3 assts 2 steals.

young go hard season

Here's a quick breakdown:

Kyrie - all-star nothing else needs to be said
Dion - Much improved All-Star Potential
Bennett - Has a long way to go but definitely has all-star potential down the road and he showed that tonight
Tristan - Same as Dion
Andy - When healthy he's a borderline all-star
Jack - 6th man of the year contender, great leader
Karasev - Shooter, Playmaker, plenty of potential
CJ - Solid Role-Player who can make shots off the bench
Clark/Gee - Neither are great but can be useful in some situations
Felix - Already liking him better than the 2 guys above
Bynum - Wildcard guy but an All-Star IF healthy
______________
We have 6 current or future all-star caliber players, usually a championship team has 3. Aside from Kyrie, if two more of the other five guys become all-stars for us than we are set. We have tons of potential this year to be better than an 8th seed. Down the road though, we already have the guys needed to allow us to contend. It's just a matter of letting them develop.

Overreaction in this thread is amazing. :chuckles:

The clear take away for me, is the team didn't just roll over at halftime. I'm glad that Mike Brown won't tolerate that like Scott did. They actually doubled down on defense, and the offense immediately followed.

Overreaction in this thread is amazing. :chuckles:

It's funny how quickly people can go from hating on the team to predicting deep playoff runs but it's still fun to get excited about games like this.

What I want to see in this pre-season

(1) Defense
(2) Anthony Bennett
(3) Dion Waiters

Everything else is pretty irrelevant.

Tonight was awesome on all three accounts.

Comeback win after an 18-point deficit. Great defensive adjustments. Love Karasev's intelligent play and great touch. Felix is gonna be such a nice role player. Dion looking like a great SG tonight. TT was looking good, and the best parts were his FT form and team leadership. Bennett with a monster 4th quarter. What a fun pre-season game.

And the best part of it all? Not looking in this thread until after the game and seeing the moronic criticism this early from guys like CleveTown216. Not even 2 full games into the PRE-season and some people were already talking like that? Hilarious.
