Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd like ben tate but I'd much prefer snagging a back or two in the late rounds.

It irritates me that the Bengals are likely matching Hawkins' offer. The dude is buried on their depth chart behind Green/Sanu/Jones and ranked 7th on the team in receptions last year. They have no business giving a guy they under-utilize as a 4th WR over $3M/per. None.

I agree. Thought RB would be a priority in FA, but clearly other targets first. I could see them chasing a smaller priced back, but a mid second day RB seems like a good move.

Very true. So good. Fuck em. Let them waste money haha. Though two years removed from injury, he may see more time.

I'm all for Sanders. Nothing like poaching from the Steelers.

The Browns really need to sign Sanders or Edelman and come away with Arthurt Moats. We have salary cap space to spend and we haven't really filled any holes, we just replaced DQ and TJ Ward. Adding a slot WR and another ILB would give us flexibility heading into the draft and fill an immediate need.

Jackson was going to be a hole in this scheme given his grossly apparent decline. We replaced him with a more productive and better player. We filled a hole in my eyes.

Whitner could be deemed a bit of a lateral move; but he was better against the pass which what we wanted.

but when they are in your division u laugh

Denver loading up.

Running back has become an overrated position. I'd be fine with two mid round picks on running backs with different skill sets. I look to what the Patriots and Saints have accomplished with different offensive plays for different backs. It protects them when one or two go down with injury, which is a bygpme conclusion in the NFL these days.

So it seems it's a foregone conclusion that Decker is out. You have to wonder if they'll supplement their receiving corps.

And I thought you were a teacher :neener:

Keep in mind if the Browns bypass a #3 receiver in free agency, there are steals to be had in the draft. Look no further than Jeremy Gallon (Michigan) who is listed as a 7th round - UDFA pick. Guy is going to be a really good NFL receiver and fits perfectly in the slot. I'd rather pay him 5th-6th round money than drop a few mill on Sanders or Edelman truthfully.

I like the idea of bringing a Kent St grad back to Northeast Ohio though. It feels like the Browns could appeal to free agents who either attended college in the area or grew up in Ohio. I'm not sure Farmer is thinking along those lines, but it could be seen as a slight edge when pursuing these guys. It certainly helped in pursuit of Donte Whitner.

James Starks is topping my list of FA RB. I think he's the perfect back for Cleveland and Shanahan.
