It irritates me that the Bengals are likely matching Hawkins' offer. The dude is buried on their depth chart behind Green/Sanu/Jones and ranked 7th on the team in receptions last year. They have no business giving a guy they under-utilize as a 4th WR over $3M/per. None.

And I thought you were a teacherRunning back has become an overrated position. I'd be fine with two mid round picks on running backs with different skill sets. I look to what the Patriots and Saints have accomplished with different offensive plays for different backs. It protects them when one or two go down with injury, which is a bygpme conclusion in the NFL these days.
