Shoo in? I love Shawn Marion but he's not a future Hall-of-Famer.
He will be after he wins 4 more rings.

LeBron's actually gives me a lot of trouble :chuckles:Marion's release in 2K isn't difficult, it's probably as fast as many would like most people's jump shots to be actually.
And on FTs, watch when he brings his knees together.
I'm so fucking sick of hearing about the Spurs. Yeah, they're the champs, but let's stop acting like they've been unbeatable the last few years.

Funny the west is so freaking amazing but the whole conference has such a problem with one old ass team that has basically had the same strengths and weaknesses for a decade
Lol, man. The spurs are actually being talked about only come playoff time. There is no hype in that team at all. If they are being talked about now that is because they are the champs. Sorry for the ot. Welcome matrix!

While it was effective it tires the body and is not a good long-term defensive plan. In spurts sure though but LeBron got tired of that defensive system. Players can breakdown quicker and easierI think if the Cavs can utilize Miami's trap defensive scheme, it'll be enough to take them to the level they need to be with or without the addition of a back up defensive C. LeBron knows that defensive scheme inside and out, and it was mostly about excessive effort and being able to recover on time to play help-side defense. Every teams have weaknesses, and the Heat defense were only good for two years. If the Cavs plays hard enough on the defensive end, the need for an interior defensive big won't really matter that much this season. The few weaknesses that Miami had were, they had the tendency to gave up open 3's and couldn't secure defensive rebounding. I think we can safely say that the Cavs will be 100x better at rebounding the ball and securing possessions than the Heat ever were in the last four years.
That gets annoying quick. I actually don't think they reach the finals this year and Duncan and Manu will probably retire. The NBA will lose some legendary players and their "reign" will be overSorry, your comment is a little lost on me. There are either too many periods or not enough words. Come playoff time they will be talked about? Or come playoff time there won't be any hype?
But if you're saying they're being talked about because they just won the title then yeah, that's fair. What I'm sick of is the circle jerk of them being an unstoppable force everytime someone mentions Cleveland

The Spurs will NOT be back in the finals this year, mark my words. Father time loses to no one. Timmy said it was very difficult for them to make it back last year, imagine how hard it would be to be back 3 years straight with an "old" big 3. I could see them making it back if they were still in their prime, but they are old and only getting older. I have the Clippers coming out of the West this year and the Cavs of course coming out of the East. Who wins, best of 7, Clippers or Cavs?
Every team is beatable. The point is, the Spurs plays at a very disciplined, unselfishly, efficient level, and they would have the edge in experience and chemistry over the Cavs if both teams were to make it in the finals. The Cavs have enough talents to win it all the first year like Celtics did back in 08, but the safest bet would be against a team like OKC Thunder or L.A Clippers who don't quite have a real edge against the Cavs. The Spurs are beatable without a question, but you can't underestimate the type of way they play the game, and they'd quite likely be the favorite against any Eastern Conference team. LeBron would be up to the challenge, but I'm not sure if Love, Irving, Dion would be. They've never been at that stage before, and Pop is a brilliant head coach who knows exploit weaknesses.
