The draft card is in New York, where it filled out by a staffer who runs it up to the podium. The staffer gets the call on a dedicated line from the team's war room.
Jerry Jones is at the Cowboys hq in Texas at the time of the draft. This rumor has zero credibility because it can't even get basic facts of how the process works correct.

C'mon man. 1st of all you can't do that and 2nd, if you are going to do it, you're going to do it on MNF? SMH
This is what infuriates me about him. He says, he knows that he was wrong but he comes off like he doesn't believe he's wrong. Just like the whole off season partying saying he needs to be more mature and can't represent the Browns like that but in the same sentence mention he's a 22 year old guy who is going to go out and have fun.
He's an incredibly immature person at this point and IMO he's not ready mentally for what the NFL QB position is. Hopefully he grows up and does well but this certainly was a concern for me during the draft process.

And that should be the answer. The problem is, at this point, neither give you a good chance to win. It's more a question of whose worse and then you go with the other guy.
What rhythm is needed for simply throwing awful passes to open recievers with absolutely no anticpation? Both QBs threw to the spot where the reciever was, rather than will be. All of our QBs since 99 have done that, and its why we suck.
Johnny has an issue though, because I honestly think he can only lead a reciever on a bootleg. The pocket is not going to work for him because he cant see his check down, which is why he got sacked by Kerrigan.

i said this in the game thread, but the QBs were not missing by miles, it was slight under throws, or over throws. it was the timing stuff that gets worked out, by having more reps. jon gruden hit that on the head the first or second series of the game.
there are still 2 weeks of preseason left. Chances are Hoyer gets named the starter and ends up taking 75% of the snaps with the first team to close that timing gap. Manziel still gets some first team snaps because he is going to see playing time here and there, its just not going to be 100% right away.

I don't care that he flipped off the Redskins bench. They can all go to hell. I care that he looked like crap. Hopefully someone on this team can play quarterback. I'd like to see just one above average Browns quarterback at some point in my life.
