NFL Week 8: Raiders (0-6) @ Browns (3-3) - 4:25 PM, CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah, you're talking out of your ass right now. He has a QB hit, a solo tackle in the flat but he gave up a ridiculous one handed catch so he's a liability out there..... Jesus.
Ha, what? He was beat by about 10 yards up field. Not sure why you're so defensive anyway. I've been one of Mingo's biggest supporters.

He's a liability with limited arm mobility.

Every QB is better with a good running game. No one is arguing that point.

The issue within the context of Hoyer and the Browns is that Hoyer and our other weapons aren't good enough to overcome the lack of one.

I still don't see how Manziel improves anything on this offense. Accuracy and decision-making were two of his biggest question marks coming into the NFL.

If you want to trade more turnovers for the chance at some big highlights, be my guest.

I don't think anyone is saying go to Manziel. But let's be honest though, Hoyer is limited. That doesn't mean he blows, but he thrives off play action. He's not going to sit back in shot gun, and beat you with his arm. He's not that kind of QB.

If we can't run the ball, Hoyer's weakness get's exposed. I think they need to see what Crowell can do.

We got to open up the run game, otherwise we're in trouble.

Well, this is what you get when your offense is made up of undrafted guys and duct tape. Once teams figure out how you play, we're not talented enough to adjust and throw something new at them. And the injuries haven't helped either.

Am I the only one who thinks he's played well in the first half, though?

Two pretty bad throws are outshining several good ones. If the running game were even remotely effective, we'd have a touchdown on the board.

Johnny being on the field forces the defense to react. Hoyer isn't effective outside of the pocket. His completion % is about where I think Johnny's would be had he'd been playing. Johnny has the ability to make plays and extend plays. Hoyer is really limited without a solid running game. If the running game is ineffective while Johnny is in he's still a threat that the defense has to respect on the ground. Hoyer is good when the running game is good but he needs to be effective when the running game isn't.

We need Gordon back. I holding judgement until we have a legit wr out there.

Where is the push up front? This line has regressed. Mack was a huge loss.

"You need to be able to run in order to set up the pass!" Well sometimes you need to be able to pass to set up the run.

I don't think he's played bad, I think we need to open up the running game though.

And we've not, and we're in trouble.

I just find it surpising how the run blocking falls completely apart because one offensive lineman goes down. I realize the Raiders have a pretty stout defense but I just expected more here.

Please bench Tate. 8 carries, and 6 yards!!! He's not getting it done! Ugh, I give up.

What did West do to earn carries over Crowell?
