Good organizations don't air out their dirty laundry like that. I do agree, someone last night was blaming The Bullshit Whisperer. The Bullshit Whisperer would be out of a job, if he didn't act as the mouthpiece for the Cavs. Don't blame him, blame the organization.

I never see the Spurs, or Patriots for example, doing this. I don't feel one bit sorry for Dion, he probably is a pompous asshole for all I know, but why do they feel the need to throw everyone under the bus?

Even if he is. The guy is 22, which means, he's still a kid in a lot of peoples eyes. Why do grown men, feel the need to throw these young guys under the bus?

I think Dion needs a fresh start, unfortunately for him, it's not with the right team.

The Bullshit Whisperer wasn't saying anything that everyone outside of a small band of posters on here didn't already know.

Everyone knew Dion was jealous of Kyrie the entire time he was here. This is no revelation.

To you I am sure it is, because you used to attack folks that would make comments like that as being "baseless and unfounded", but it was just that you had your head in the sand and were in denial.

Perhaps you weren't paying attention while you were banned, but until shortly into this season we were constantly being told by people here who know a hell of a lot more than you do how much the team loved Dion and his attitude.

The problem was that he didn't buy in and, unlike LeBron (who also isn't buying in), he's expendable.

He has a positive take on Dion:

Waiters is worth a gamble. I’ve joked before about being one of the last, lonely residents of Waiters Island. All that bad stuff about him — it’s all true. But the guy can just do some high-level NBA things. He’s a nifty ball handler on the pick-and-roll; he can get into space, make tough shots, and toss some smart interior passes.

He reminds a bit of Evan Turner in this sense: We all rip him to shreds, and then he’ll do something — a hard drive, a slick drop-off pass — that tells you he can do stuff not many NBA guys can manage. And here’s the difference: Waiters, in shooting 37 percent from deep last season on his delightful moonballs, flashed at least the possibility of being a workable NBA 3-point shooter from outside the corners. Turner has never done anything like that.

It will be interesting to see how Dion does in OKC. They have a very solid recent history of developing young players, which I probably don't have to tell you is not so true of our illustrious organization.

I was paying attention, and I never believed a word of it.

Actions have always spoken louder than words to me.

No matter how much props one can lay on Dion, he isn't consistant enough to get more.

Start a list of young players (especially bigs)whom we hardly saw but go to another team and we then see their skills..the Cavs trade away players you think they could really use for ones who have little use or wind up being jettisoned.

Good trade. Got length on the wing and a solid perimeter defender. Grabbed a guy who can be instant offense off the bench and got rid of a guy who wasn't buying in and didn't really fit.

I think the pick gets included in a package to go after Mozgov.

It still looks terrible and unprofessional. The Bullshit Whisperer has shit on Chris Grant, Mike Brown, and now Dion. Also, this all started when Griffin took over. The Bullshit Whisperer emerged from nowhere. Lloyd was Grant's go to guy it seemed and he never bad-mouthed guys like The Bullshit Whisperer does.

Is it really "shitting" on someone if you basically regurgitate things that have been bantered about publicly for months, even years? The Kyrie/Dion friction is old news, not new news, even if some chose not to believe it when Windy and others reported it. And the "fit" issue of Dion not wanting to be just a spot-up guy also has been a hot topic since the whole off season began. The Bullshit Whisperer broke nothing.

Grant and MB, maybe. But what The Bullshit Whisperer said about Dion has been wildly overblown. I don't see a lot of national media outlets reporting what The Bullshit Whisperer said as a surprise at any level. That was pretty much conventional wisdom already.

Dion is still my favorite player in the NBA. Dude is really going to be the James Harden replacement for the Thunder, he will definitely take better shots after this trade. He will feel like he is wanted, KD and Russ will help him take his game to another level. That can't be said of LeBron and Kyrie. I think we will look back at this trade in a few years and think why did we let go of this guy? But hopefully Shrump and Smith make the Cavs better this year. But fuck this trade!

At the end of the day, Go Cavs. Hopefully this will make our team better. We still need a solid Center.
