I'd like to hear what
@AZ_ has to say about Sean Mannion.
6'6 pocket QB who ran a pro style offense at Oregon State. He has a strong, accurate arm and 4 years of starting experience. His junior year he had Brandin Cooks to throw to and had an outstanding year.
He's the Pac-12's alltime leader in pass attempts, completions and yards. He's 6th alltime in touchdowns, 9th in completion percentage and 4th in INTs.
Downsides to him are that he is a little shaky under pressure, he regressed his senior year when he didn't have Cooks or a decent offensive line, he has the tendency to turn the ball over with INTs and fumbles as he only has 9" hands.
The scouting report on him is that he's not going to win you games on his arm talent but he can manage the game, run play action effectively and his big frame and college experience is best suited for a West Coast type of offense. Outside of the turnovers and the limited mobility, he sounds like Ray Farmers ideal QB.
He's probably a 3rd-5th round type guy so he is certainly obtainable. Thoughts?
