from your mouth to God's ears
Vardon looks like the legacy in a frat that everyone despises but tolerates him for his daddy's Amex card
Four minutes of futility -- In the last 3:57 neither team made a basket. The 76ers went 0-for-5 from the field and missed four free throws. The Cavs went 0-for-6 and committed a turnover.
"We pride ourselves on the defensive end and tonight was one of those ugly games offensively where a lot of easy shots weren't going for us and a lot of us didn't have our necessary rhythm," Irving said. "But it's the game of basketball and sometimes your flow isn't there but we got stops when we needed, fouled the right people, they missed free throws as well and came out with this win."
I must've watched a different game.
Robert Covington, an 81 percent free throw shooter is not the definition of "fouling the right person." Covington and Jerami Grant missing free throws is not the definition of getting stops. Ish Smith, who finished 0-for-4 from three-point range, missing a pair of uncontested three-pointers in the final minutes, is not good defense. Nerlens Noel missing a point-blank shot on the final possession doesn't qualify as good defense either.
The 76ers missed shots for one reason: they are the worst shooting team in the NBA. They got quality looks late, but aren't good enough to make them.
"I was on the court just noticing, just looking up at the scoreboard like, 'It's been 87-86 for about four minutes,'" Irving said of the final minutes. "And I'm just like, 'Please, just let us get this win.'"
They are, by far.
What is Kyrie going to say? "We sucked but got lucky because our opponent sucked more"I'll never give Chris Fedor props for anything, that's why I'll mention that I really surprisingly enjoyed this paragraph from an unnamed NEOMG writer after today's game:
I wanted to say I was embarrassed for my peers about the "what other coach do we have" kerfuffle. It's testament to what's going on that the very next part of the quote was James savaging them for trying to make it into a story: "To make it a feud btwn me and Blatt, it's just to sell." Amen, Hallejulah. yet somehow that part didn't get reported until later. Just sad.
It's not only Blatt that can seem the smartest guy in the room....
Is there video of all this??
That retard Joe Vardon just asked the dumbest question ever
Kyrie put his head down, Lebron just looked at him....Love tried to answer
Vardon is the clown of all clowns
he's easily hatable
hes the king joffery of cavs reporting
What was the question?
