Round 2 Game 1 | Cavs vs. Bulls | May 4, 2015 | 7:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's a bummer to lose, but really we can take a lot of positives from this game.
Chicago literally played their best game of the season. They hit some miracle shots one after another. We're missing 2 starters. We played some funky lineups and basically Blatt was adjusting on the fly. And it's still a close game.
LeBron being a little more focused and we would've won this one.

Chicago will not keep shooting like that and Rose's knees will not stay fresh for long.
Take the positives from this game and get ready for the next one. If we play with the same intensity and can just be a little more focused, we will win this series.

Chicago's best lineup, their best game of the season vs Cavs -2 starters = 7 point difference. We will win this series.

Blatt and LeBron shit the bed.

Actually, Bulls don't really scare me still. They shot lights out, we didn't play well and we barely lost. I'll wait to panic.
Yeah. I'm not being a homer but I'm really not that impressed with their team. We lost this game ourselves as opposed to anything the Bulls did.

Cavs absolutely need to come out full force from tip off Wednesday night. Bulls starters played a ton of minutes and are going to have little rest. Good news for the Cavs is Bulls shot unbelievably well and Lebron played pretty subpar and we were still in it for a lot of the game.

We wasted a 22 point performance from Shumpert and a 30 point performance from Kyrie today... LBJ better come back with a vengeance in Game 2. Unacceptable.

From where? JR Smith doing what he did is a big reason we couldn't shoot tonight. I'm really curious how he's escaping what he deserves around here. That moment of selfishness lost us this game tonight.
Chicago shooting higher from 3 than from the field lost us the game. You do not lose many games, if any where your team shoots 56% from 3.

Holy shit, what are you guys crying about? Do you honestly expect the bulls to shoot like this every game? Of course not. Now we may have not won the game, but the take away is too great to ignore. We played like garbage and look how close the game was, and this was without Smith.

Keep your heads up, Cavs.

you cant expect shumpert to score 25 a game either.

Why has LeBron handled the ball on the last 8-9 possessions and Kyrie has barely touched it? THAT is what lost us the game - his fucking pride. What a fucking shame this is.. LeBron and LeBron only is responsible for the hole we are now in.

Amazes me that everyone is so quick to scapegoat LeBron for the entirety of this loss. That wasn't him losing Mike Dunleavy in the first quarter or leaving Pau Gasol wide open in the third. The Bulls did a good job turning him into a jump shooter all night, he just didn't knock down his shots from the perimeter tonight. No one on our team did, missing Love and JR really hurt.

No one seems to want to admit Kyrie was off tonight too, he had the ball on three possessions down the stretch and missed all three of his shots as well. We'll need better games from both of them if we want to win this series.

Well, there's precedent for this loss. Miami lost their first playoff game against Chicago in both 2010-2011 and 2012-2013 only to come back and win the following four straight.

LeBron needs to differ and turn over ball handling capabilities to Kyrie for the rest of his career.

If I see LeBron have another 6+ TO game this postseason, I'm going to lose it.

How does OKC get Donovan and we get Blatt who would have been an assistant for Kerr. Let's face it, nobody even heard of him before this Cavs gig.

Is that a real question Mdog? Are you seriously wondering if I'd rather let Jae Crowder shove JR Smith over having JR suspended?

Yea, bud, I'd rather JR be playing instead of proving his manliness by getting fucking suspended.

not panicking, but it was often painful to watch, and some of LeBron's decisions had me like

Bulls shot 55% from deep. We shot 27% from deep. Doubt either of those happen again.

If Lebron figures out how to play like the best player in basketball, and if we figure out how to defend the Pau/Rose PnR, we are going to be okay.
