Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lol mike wilbon

Was exposed back in Miami series

Back in 2010 I believe this was a live radio show
A heat reporter said "I have heat in 5."

Mike wilbon "what? Heat in 5?"

Reporter: yeah

Mike wilbon "you better start revising!"

Reporter "WHY???"

Mike wilbon " OPEN YOUR EYES!!"

Heat ended up beating them 4-1

In other words mike wilbon is a bitch

Before this thread goes away, let's give the Bulls props for just giving up instead of resorting to cheap shots at the end.

At least they were professionals about it.

Indeed, they didn't resort to the cheap ass "Olynyk" tactic the way the Bostonian head coach did. I'm still waiting to see the hidden camera footage of that coach teaching arm-bar techniques in practice to his weak-assed players.

I can't believe people actually need to get props for that. It is the normal and professinal thing to do.

I don't get a standing ovation when I hold back from punching people in the face all day.

What happened to the Hornets pick? I forgot about the Deng trade too.

I know you might not want my opinion, but if Lance Stevenson is available, he might be a good fit in Chicago. He had a down season for sure, but we all saw what he can do in a good situation. As for what to trade for him, I would say Mirotic and salary to match would be enough, since the rumours were basically asking for someone to take him.

Or, you guys could keep Mirotic (not necessarily for Lance), get rid of Noah, who looked absolutely terrible, and hope that Mirotic develops into a solid big off the bench. With the FC you guys have, there will always be a team out there that is in need of one of those guys.

Get rid of Brooks, he is an idiot who cost you guys a playoff game against Milwaukee.

But really, keeping Rose healthy is the main goal I guess. Something like no back to backs, and no more than 12 games a month, might just get him all the way through a season. Hard to build chemistry that way though.
We had the Hornets pick this year. It was used to trade up along with our own pick to draft Doug McDermott.

The Charlotte pick came this year. We packaged it plus ours to trade up for McDermott.

I wouldn't mind Stephenson. I for one am tired of all these high character guys that shrink in the moment. Did you know that we had JR Smith and we just gave him away cause he wasn't a high character guy.

I'm sure Ehlo was sitting back home with a 36 pack of Natural Light watching the Bulls season go up in flames and enjoying every single second of their slow burn !!!!!

I can't believe people aren't more excited about this series win. I mean, after all the adversity the Cavs faced, the series wasn't even that close. The Bulls won TWO GAMES: one in which they had to play their BEST POSSIBLE GAME in order to barely edge a team missing two starters, and one in which they needed the ref to ignore a clear travel on one possession and bank in a wild shot on the next. The Cavs, by contrast, won two games by blow-outs, and two games that shouldn't have been as CLOSE as they were.

How disappointing the BULLS were should not be part of the narrative - the Bulls were who they were. They just weren't that good. They were overrated from the get-go.

I want to hear about what makes the Cavs as good as they are, and why the Bulls couldn't hang with the Cavs.

I feel like I am dealing with a bunch of Joan Baez's in here, with everyone moping around.

I'm not a professional journalist or TV host, but here - I will help to get the discussion started:
1. How did the Cavs make up for the absence of Kevin Love?
2. How were Shump, JR, Delly, and TT able to elevate their games? Were they reaching potential that was always there, or did they play over their heads?
3. How did LeBron help the team win, through means other than scoring? Should he be the primary playmaker, going forward?
4. How was Irving able to play on one-knee? What's the strategy for him going forward, if he can't get back to somewhere near 100%?
5. What adjustments did Blatt make that led to the Cavs taking the last 3 games?
6. Why were the Bulls so overrated? Was it because the front-court not recognized for the fetid turd that it actually was?
7. What WAS it that was supposed to propel the Bulls to a series win? Dominant guard play? A huge rebounding advantage? Why did those things not materialize?
8. Why did the media underestimate the ability of Shump and Delly to shut down Derrick Rose?
9. Did the Bulls seriously not expect to get The Pipe? EVERYBODY gets The Pipe! Why should the Bulls be any different?

You are WELCOME!

Going to post some highlights from the Bulls RealGM board for you guys:

---

"The spirit of this team looks dead right now, and did for most of the year. I don't know if a coach fixes that, when so many players stop playing as hard as they can and just lack the fight."

---

"Our bigs are a mess. Pau is old and slow, Jo is done, Taj is fading rapidly. Only Niko is of interest, but even there he's no prototypical banging big. We have nothing but tissue paper inside."

---

"This season feels like a complete waste. McDermott and Snell played 1743 minutes during the season; Hinrich got 1610. Mirotic played most of his time (outside of injury replacement) at the 3. Noah and Gibson have both clearly lost a step that they can't afford to lose. Gasol is going to be 35 and almost incapable of finishing around the rim at a consistent level. Derrick played inconsistently because his reliance on inconsistent driving/jump shooting will lead to that."

---

"That being said, it's fair to say this will probably be the worst Cavs team we'll ever play again in the LeBron era. So in that sense, yes, maybe we will have to wait out his career till we can do anything."

---

"Saddest thing is that they are only dragging on the inevitable. This team is this team. Another coach is not going to magically get more than Thibs got out of them or get certain players to stop committing bad habits. They need to retool the team completely and make some big moves."

---

"Yup. That all goes with the fact that Thibs got nothing out of our role-players while Blatt got the most out of his.

Still, Mirotic killed us in this series. Nothing will change that."

---

"Sure, we lost to the best player in basketball again but he had his worst supporting cast in a long, long time. No Love, Kyrie totally ineffective for 4 out of the 6 games. If this team was even a conference championship contender then we would've mopped the floor with them. Instead, we looked lackadaisical and un-inspired for much of the series just like we did in the regular season."

---

"The Bulls supporting cast was vastly over rated. Or maybe Thibs didn't prepare them well enough but in this series...

Thompson >>>>>> Taj
Dellavedova >>>>>>> Brooks
JR Smith >>>>>>>> Kirk
Shumpert >>>>>>> Niko

The only role player who played well was Dunleavy. All of their role players played well from the 4 listed above and including James Jones and Mozgof.

JAMES JONES HIT 10 THREE POINTERS THIS SERIES IN 72 MINUTES

NIKOLA, KIRK, AND BROOKS HIT 9 THREE POINTERS THIS SERIES IN 238 MINUTES

That is insane."

---

"What the heck were they saving themselves for? Not everybody but certainly too many quitters last night; it simply doesn’t bother them to lose. Embarrassing. Players/team needs an attitude adjustment."

---

"J.Hood was going off on the radio last night about the way this team went out, the PATHETIC way it went out. I couldn't agree more. It was simply embarrassing and all these guys should be embarrassed, because they definitely embarrassed the city and the franchise."

---

"I wasn't even mad after the game. Bulls kind of get used to disappoint me this season. Sad time. Our bench was horrible, we were beaten by Delladova and TT...come on...

Very interested about post season but don't think anything significant will happen, except Thibs leaving."

---

"Their role players stepped up and ours wilted in the spotlight. Every game, a different scrub like Shumpert or Dellavedova was getting hot. Call it the Lebron effect. We just have to hope some of our guys can take a big leap like Mirotic. They definitely should shake some things up though and get rid of a guy like Noah and/or Gibson."

---

"That twat Colin Cowherd said that this year was the year for the Bulls to beat LeBron & that the window is now officially closed.

He's a scumbag piece of crap and oh God he's right isn't he"

---

"We've definitely made things harder. The whole point of this year was championship or bust. We should have taken advantage of Cleveland's youth of not being an experienced playoff team like Miami was. Not only that, the basketball gods gave it to us on a silver platter. No Love, injured ineffective Kyrie and a severely downgraded Lebron James.

And still couldn't get the job done. I don't think Cavs will be this vulnerable again."

---

"lmao

if that was the Cavs at their most vulnerable, i'd hate to see them at their best"

---

"Yep. If they return healthy next year, as much as it pains me to say it- Kyrie, Shump, James, Love, Mozgov with TT, Smith, and Delly on the bench are head and shoulders better than the rest of the league."

(Thibs about to be fired is my take on this.)

Interesting comments... I have to wonder if the Bulls play the long game and totally retool, try to gain a ton of draft assets for players and wait out the next five years... because some of those comments are dead on - this Cavs team will be the most vulnerable Cavs team the East will see for the next half decade in my estimation.

High character guys are great, but a guy like JR Smith can really make the difference to a team. Too many of those "unstable" guys can ruin a team though. You want one, maybe two of those guys, if you're confident in your team leadership.
