Round 3, Game 1 | Cavs @ Atlanta | May 20th, 2015 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Carroll is a big loss assuming he is seriously hurt. The guy has scored 20 or more in 7 playoff games so far. Really good defender.

Honestly, Lebron had Millsap on him towards the end of the game, what do you want him to do? He should be attacking that dude, that's easy pickins. The problem was he didn't get one call and he was hacked damn near every time he attacked.

I don't mind him attacking but he has to go sooner.

He dribbles the clock down to 5 seconds and then removes the option to pass. He needs to start around 10-11 seconds, so he can kick out to shooters if the defense collapses or if his drive stagnates.

We are at a point now where all 4 teams left in the playoffs are capable of coming back from double digit leads. im not sure why people are surprised when they happen. especially from a team that has displayed that capability in this years playoffs.

I wasnt really upset with lebron driving but they werent going in so it was a problem.

Anytime you win game 1 on the road its a "steal"

Hopefully the cavs can take game 2 but ill be satisfied with a split.

Cavs didnt really need delly shump and smith to score tonight because smith was on fire. thats just the way basketball goes.

Blatt did an excellent job tonight and I thought budenholzer made some interesting late 4th quarter adjustments that Blatt will need to Address before the next game.

woot game 1 down. keep it rolling.

It'll happen.

How about the adjustment we made defensively? Great scheme. The guards felt non existent in the 1nd half.

Yea we blew a lead, but it's on the road, game 1, regs in ATLS corner, and they are a good offense. If lebron gets half those calls it's over with 5 minutes to go.

At the end of the day, we won game 1 on the road.
Agreed. Plus we didn't lose the lead because of adjustments they made, which would concern me for the next game, we lost the lead by going to LeIso too early which we can hopefully avoid in the future. Only thing that really bothers me is that JR could've scored a lot more. He only missed one shot at the end of his streak and then LeBron didn't go back to him.

Yeah what exactly did we do? In he first quarter I thought Teague + Schroeder were going to carve us up all game. I know Delly did a lot better job with them than Kyrie, but what other adjustments did we make?
They sagged off the guards and the bigs stayed behind and played the roll which doubles as paint protection. No hedging in the 2nd half.

I'm blind as hell but I thought LBJ tries to kick it to JR in the corner once when the Hawks picked it off. I could be wrong though.

If they had Sefolosha it would have been a MUCH different game! ~Chris Webber
It's like he's saying this shi* to piss people off. It's not like Cavs lost a valuable player or anything. Can't stand that moron at all.

it's obviously not easy pickens if he went 0/3 the three times he iso'd him (without a TT pick)

i don't know if its because he was tired or because he has lost a step but he was not capable of just blowing by him
