NBA Finals Game 2 | Cavaliers @ Warriors | June 7th, 2015 | 8:00 PM [EST]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don't know if mentioned, but did anyone see the Curry presser? This boy TWICE stated the Warriors are going to win the series. He stated this 2 different times in the presser. Notice that no one from the Cavs ever says this. We play one at a time. I think the Warriors just assume they got this. I hope they keep thinking that way.

Blazemores post game overview game four, said they were still gonna win

This is why young teams with no Finals experienced players hit these walls because at that point you think just being the best is going to win it all. Then we come along and say "Nope" we have bad games and grind almost two wins on their home court with massive injuries and a messed up season. Arrogant people get you the "hot ladies" The media. A true grit fighting team gets you the "respect" If we win this then James will come close to Jordan and his legacy. because we could three peat with the players we have and can get if we our doing this with out three... THREE of our starting five.

LeBron finished the game 3 for 21. We really need to find a way to spark the offensive flow once GSW goes all out to defend LeBron and the paint. I thought they were going to give him his 40? Clearly not the case and a great sign for the Cavs going forward but we really need to adjust then. LeBron started to notice this-- in regulation there's no way he gives up that contested look to pass to Jones in the corner like he did in OT.

I'd like to see us attack earlier in the shot clock just to get more movement because we're so static with the LeBron Iso and it leads to a contested fadeaway 85% of the time. LeBron can kick it out, get GSW to scramble and run us off the 3-point line and we can get LeBron the ball cutting to the hoop or post him up deeper in the post. Delly needs to continue to get into the paint too-- it'll free up space for LeBron and free up space for his 3-point shot too. Shit, there's so many creative things we could do to get LeBron the ball in better spots and create opportunities for others. Like what about setting an off-ball screen to free up someone to come in behind LeBron as he's attacking from the Iso? I know LeBron is the pseudo offensive coach but I don't think he even knows how to plan to actively get others involved in a game like this. He's getting his and that's fine.

I think TT needs to TOUCH the ball more offensively. He shouldn't ever actually SHOOT the ball but he's always open (for a reason). Just to force GSW into a rotation....

I really think our aggressiveness going to the basket tonight really opened up GSW's defense. They're a good defensive team, no doubt, but in some ways we made it extremely difficult for them tonight, and in other ways, we played right into their hands down the stretch.

All I can say is I watched the overtime during a silent study session in front of my class and accidentally gave a huge cheer and fist pump. Needless to say it was amusing.

What a grind out game. Cavs overcame very poor officiating down the stretch and produced a defensive clinic (apart from jr who really struggle marking guys who move off the ball)

Now we have home court we just need to find enough shots for others in game 3 to hold it

That was one fucking ugly game, that thing was dirty and gritty and I kinda liked it.

This isn't going to be a post with me breaking down stats, because if it was I would be praising James and harping on some other guys, this post of mine is about hustle and will.

Cleveland showed exactly that, this was never at the pace of the Warriors and while it was downright horrible to watch for the purists out there, I saw our squad give a giant FUCK YOU to Golden State by never letting up and succumbing to pressure.

Everyone played hard and everyone played with a chip on their shoulder, we need that the rest of the way. While there was some guys I want to praise and some I want to strangle (Smith with the stupid fouls), I will give the whole team the benefit of the doubt with just how hard it was to get that win.

Does this define the season? I hope it does. I hope this hustle is on this squad until the season is over, whenever that may be.

On a side note, I usually give the officials the benefit of the doubt but there were some downright questionable plays in this game, I mean to the point that the league needs to look into it.

Now I am going to eat a super late dinner and watch all the postgame while I stuff my face.

@Andrew

Your 2 favs LeBron & Amy fat Schumer are starring in an upcumming movie.

Now only if Shaq makes a cameo you can jerk off real good.
I would do Schumer so hard, LBJ looks actually kind of funny in that movie with Hader.

Big Sexy knows

May the even more stupid than me have grace. I lend my stupidity to you oh great one. Oh word is there is a poster who can make "sense" off my posts.

That LeBron post-game presser was legendary. His disdain for certain questions was crucial.

Just woke up ... I had this awesome dream.

Oh wait, it wasn't just a dream!!!!

Cavs beat the Warriors and the refs! We have home court advantage!

This is suddenly looking like the Bulls series! And we won that series after taking the Bulls' spirit and crushing it with a combination of grind it out toughness, gritty irritating Delly sauce on their star point guard, exhausting will destroying Shump Moz TT role playing perfection, inspiration of doing it for Love and Kyrie, and just enough LeBron scoring and distributing.

That this recipe worked last night in my dream is extremely promising for the rest of the series! Oh wait. It wasn't a dream! [emoji14]

Can we crush their spirit like we did Da Bulls? It'll be very interesting to see how the Warriors play on the road in a hostile sea of Wine and Gold.

Next two games ... go to the Gund you guys and crush their spirit, finish what the Cavs have started last night with the knock out punch of going up 3-1. Help our boys bring home the first Cleveland championship in my lifetime! (I'm 50, born the year after our last championship in 1964.)

Pinch me, tell me I didn't just dream that last night!!!!!
