Not sure why Austin was flipping out on Kyrie that last drive. He had his man beat, he just lost control of the ball. That was a sick move, it would have been an easy two.
 
No reason to run Kyrie down. Get some reinforcements in to help him. Lue doesn't even know what he's doing. Making it up as he goes.

I thought that would be a good time to pass. Particularly Frye. Irving had the defense sucked in and open shooters.
 
Tristan had a good defensive sequence there. Struggling in offense though with his shot tonight, and missing a chance at some passes to open shooters.
 
Frye needs to start at the 5 against most teams. Idgaf. Mozgov blows and TT is better bringing energy off the bench.

Frye has just been too good to not get more minutes. And its not just his shooting either. His defense has been way better than advertised. Even his post offense is decent.
 
If Kyrie looked to pass he could definitely hit 10 AST a game. He draws so much attention it's crazy.

He's had a stellar game but at what point does the "we don't ask him to pass" narrative need to die?

I think he's gotten to the point where HE thinks the only way he can help us is by scoring and it's not. He's an asset on D and passing the ball when he's locked In

I don't know about averaging 10 assist but him trying to score over 4 defenders is getting a little old. He has been good tonight scoring the ball though.
