Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Glad to see some action out of him offensively, looks like his knee may finally be getting into shape. Just wish he was more physical and got himself in better rebounding position. For his size he should be more active on the boards, he's consistently out-rebounded by the majority of the guards on our team.

I agree but as he's not a strong rebounder it might be best he just concentrates on blocking out his guy and let the others get the ball. Hopefully he is a net positive then

he looks healthier...he has played better.. when he is in Protect the rim,set picks, and dunk.. lol..that is what we need.. and now box out and keep your man off the glass

I want someone to get moz for a post game interview

I don't care that Brook Lopez didn't play tonight, Moz looked like the center that anchored our defense last season. He even made an impact offensively, his touch magically returned and he made some difficult shots he's missed all year.

There was a particular possession that gives me hope he'll turn it around in the playoffs- LeBron calls a play for him and swings the ball, Moz flashes into open space above the left block, catches a bad pass that sailed high, fakes a spin to his left, then uncorks a one-handed turnaround that finds the bottom of the net.

Just a very confident looking move from a guy that rarely looks that assured of himself anymore. Keep building on this Moz!

I hope he can build on it. It would be huge if he could repeat his performance from last year's playoffs

For as much hate as he gets, his numbers couldn't be more identical to last year.

It's frighteningly similar actually. Like 20 minutes difference, 60 points, four turnovers in total difference.

If Moz returns to how he played last postseason I really think the Cavs have a good shot at winning it all. People don't realize this, but last postseason, opponents shot 17% worse than normal when Moz was guarding them. That was historically great.

For all of the team's problems, one of the biggest ones is solved by Moz returning to his level last postseason, i.e., defense. With Moz anchoring, Kyrie's defensive woes are minimized, Shump/JR can be more aggressive when guarding the ball handler and we'll get more transition opportunities. I would actually argue that Moz improving to last postseason on defense would result in our offense becoming historically great, simply because our opponents will start missing shots at the rim resulting in transition opportunities.

I was very happy to see that in Moz again last night.
