Eastern Conference Finals Game 3 : Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors, May 21st, 8:30pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It's weird to say this, but at least we deserved to lose. It's better than losing a game because the other team got lucky or the refs kept them in it. We really deserved to lose. I'm just glad we appear to be healthy.
Yeah we beat ourselves with our second and third best players playing the worst games of their careers.

Lebron i know you don't get calls but that one flop tonight...

But the key for Toronto is the Cavs went cold from 3.

Toronto game-planned it.

Cleveland went 14/41 from three tonight. That's 34%. 34% is closer to the season average of 36% than post-season percentages vs. Detroit [41.3%] and Atlanta [50.7%].

If Golden State gets past OKC, they'll be looking at this game. And concluding one thing: "Go ahead and shoot threes because we will too. Ours will fall 41% of the time and yours will fall 36% of the time. Over a series that means we win."

Lue now has to adjust to when threes aren't falling and Toronto's playing actual man perimeter defense. Unlike game 2.

We shot 35% and 33% from 3 in the 1st 2 games.

I'm just as interested in seeing more of an effort on defense, especially in the first quarter (as PriceFTW noted). Raptors have made it look very easy in the first quarter, and today, at home, that extended for the entire first half. Can't do that on the road, can't do that as the playoff opponents get better.

They were out of rhythm 3s, which is a problem. Ball was sticking way too much. And we got out rebounded. Regardless, we needed this. They need to watch the tape closely, because I agree that Golden State will play exactly this type of game.

We deserved to lose but I have to admit, it's alarming to see Love and Kyrie both struggle so badly in the same game.

When the offense is not going they have to find ways to impact the game in other ways because a performance like that in the finals would be disastrous needless to say.

Blessing and a curse game for Toronto. Blessing is you won. Curse is you win an ultimately meaningless game and now you are going to have to pay Biyombo significant money. He pulled the ole Tristan Thompson special on them.

Picked a bad game to have a cavs watch party. We did get 4 people total lol. Figures it was the worst this team has played in over 3 weeks. I expect a much better effort Monday on both ends.

We just didn't hit shots tonight. We missed shots that we made in Games 1 & 2. This team lives off momentum. Missing shots kills momentum.

I think Lue should have brought Love back in that game midway through the 4th. I've seen Love on MULTIPLE occasions have bad games but knock down 3s in the 4th. And I know Delly was playing hurt but having Kyrie play 8 more minutes than Love when they were having equally bad games sucks.

Lebron needs to be more aggressive on offense without pounding the ball.

Definitely a pectoral strain or maybe deeper than a strain if it hurts when he breathes

We need to check to see if it's not internal but he can survive and play with a pectoral injury as long as it isn't too bad
I've had a pec strain, it has nothing to do with breathing and it's extremely rarely in the middle of your chest

The vast majority of pec strains and tears are the pec minor not the pec major. The pec minor is the part of your pec that basically overlaps into your arm.

I couldn't buckle my own seatbelt. If it was a pec strain or year he would know and he wouldn't be able to reach across his chest

I know how much people love anecdotal injury stories, but I'd be willing to bet a good sum it has nothing to do with his pec

Edit: I promise I wasn't caught up in the thread before I posted that, but I wish I would've bet sooner.

Pec injuries in my experience are something you no question know right away. After my strain I couldn't do a pushup or put any weight at all on my arm

I really hate how we lost not the fact that we lost. Its a common theme in our losses is teamd try to bully us. The rest of this series falls on Love and Thompson. They have to come into every game breathing fire. They need to go for every board like its the last rebouund they will ever get in their lives. We need to win the hand to hand combat game. Tonight we lost the hand to hand combat game. Love and TT should be ashamed of themselves allowing some 16 year old looking kid to grab 25 boards. This bad taste will remain in my mouth untill game 4. Put on the big boy pants Love and TT!!lets goo!!
