So.
Does bird rights for everyone basically mean there will be next to no free agency signings?
Yeah i think so. It depends on how mid and small market teams cope with the lux tax issues. If we ignore them then it might lead to a very stagnant market as teams over the cap now will just go up and up and run a huge 5 year deficit
I picked him up in season four of my sim in a salary dump, and traded four prospects for a blue chip number one pick and kept my core of my best (current) prospects.. Went 76-6 with a MOV of 26.Not necessarily. Guys will simply decide not to resign with teams without their input. Usually only teams that don't make playoffs, but I've lost Isaiah Thomas even after doing well. You can try to sign them with everyone else, but even then they can refuse the first couple days.
Not entirely clear how FA is going to be handled yet so I won't hazard any guesses on what it might be like. But I have seen LeBron James out there during 2017 preseason when Milwaukee doesn't make the playoffs. I don't think that's the computer choosing not to sign him.
Also as I understood it all the markets were the same size. we all start even
I need youth... If someone has a young wing player who has a specialty (3pt, perimeter defense, etc.) PM a trade. I want someone who is in their first three seasons in the NBA. I'd be willing to take a talent downgrade for Batum.Nicolas Batum is on the block
