Hot Deals Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My wife uses the Giant Eagle Fuel Perks progam religiously. For every $50 you spend there you get 10cents off of a gallon of gas. Obviously groceries add up, but she also does prescriptions there and they have a huge secection of gift cards(itunes, GAP, BestBuy, Old Navy, ToysRUs). She even buys a lot of gift cards for herself when she knows she's going to GAP or to make a big purchase at BestBuy so she can get the gas rewards. It adds up quick. It's also feels good psychologically when you pay 1.50 for a gallon...even though she had to spend $1000 to do it. :chuckles:

My dad does that too, plus he has a credit card that pays him back 5% on all grocery store purchases. (the only thing we have is safeway that has gas stations and you can get a max of 7 cents off their gas here)

Fuel perks is a waste of money as GE's food is so expensive. If you're buying something at another store, it does make some sense to get gift cards there though. As Fuel Perks is a maximum of 12% off if you buy 30 gallons of gas.

The only problem with paying for something at a retailer with gift cards, is if you are unsatisfied with the purchase, you get a refund in gift cards.

Dish Network is currently offering Cinemax for 1 cent if you switch to autopay and paperless billing.

Some people have only received 3 months and some people that already had autopay got a year free too.

If you have Dish Network, follow the following instructions

1. Call 1-800-333-DISH
2. Go to Billing
3. Ask about a Cinemax Promo for 1 Cent for signing up for paperless billing

I actually used this one and it works..

PS 3 Offer- $100 Gift Card when purchased at Wal-Mart

http://www.alibris.com/ has real cheap textbooks, used that is, but as long as it has all the pages, then used should work out. My wife got a textbook for a Masters class at about half price.

as far as the unlocked t-mobile phone, all you need is an unlocked phone for a GSM network that uses Simcards and T-mobile is one of them. Here are a few options:

#1
#2
#3
#4

Tons of options on E-Bay if none of these strike your fancy.

Thought I'd throw this out there since it's somewhat of a hot deal and is Cavaliers-related too. I was in the men's athletic department in JCPenney @ Great Northern yesterday and snagged this sweet Cavaliers sweatshirt for 60% off the original price. It's still $70 on nba.com but you can pick it up there for only $28:

They had a lot of other Cavs stuff too and everything was on clearance...

For those of you who own the XBOX 360 HD add-on or bought a now discontinued HD DVD player, inetvideo.com is now having a fire sale on all HD DVD's and selling them at the ridiculous price of $5.99 each.

why dont you contribute and stop leeching.

Why don't you get a life. I don't know any places with hot deals like the ones that these gentlemen have provided. SO, I WOULD NOT BE MUCH HELP!

Whenever you find out what books you need, just take the ten digit ISBN number and put it in yahoo or google search and it will turn up every website that offers that book for sale. That's the easiest way.
