Funny thing is that the 15-16 game threads were full of vitriol and disgust at the inconsistency and lack of cohesion, night after night. Rant thread too. In fact, for the entire regular season this team was unfavorably compared with the prior year team. Nobody fell further than Moz. I hope he turns it around.
To be fair, we knew we were going to be facing one of the greatest teams of all time in the finals, and wanted to see signs the team was ready to compete at that level.

Its funny, I was thinking about that after reading Kyrie's quote about how this team would be coming back forty years from now. The regular season was one of the more frustrating (contending) years I've witnessed. Looking back on some of those games... there was no way I could see this team coming together. Yet they did, and it was glorious.
The regular season version of this team was inconsistent, annoying and frustrating. The playoff version was everything we wanted the regular season version to be. The lesson? No one should ever give two shits about the regular season.

I've been watching as much as I can. He got off to a bad start due to injury. So far, he has been a poor man's Bogut. He beats on the opposition's interior and doesn't put up great numbers, and then sits in the fourth. That said, he contributes in the floor game and will probably never get credit for it when Nance Jr. comes in and dunks on the weakened opposition.
