Joining the likes of Darron Thomas
You asked what he won. I told you what he won.

Yea I would have loved to have seen Rosen compete against a Buckeyes defense or another upper level team in a Rose Bowl or a bowl somewhat significant ?... Unfortunately only got to see him play in that Your Mother Should Have Swallowed Bowl back in ‘15...
Who cares?
He’s won less than Mark Sanchez, means nothing.
Or a playoff berth, for that matter.
Lol, #winning
Trivia Question:Who cares?

Trivia Question:
Name me the last time a QB went #1 overall following the season in which his college coach got fired for not winning enough games.
Won as many games as Goff did.
Who cares?
But to answer your question, I think John Elway.
What has Darnold won?
Think you are looking too much into it. They just hired Chip Kelly. They'd have fired anyone to hire Chip Kelly.‘82 was Elway’s last season at Stanford, where he went 5-6. His last game was losing the Cal game with the band on the field.
Actually, Paul Wiggin came back and coached Stanford again in 1983, going 1-10. Then, his ass was fired.
Look, I get your point.
Winning as a college QB isn’t everything. I’m not going to truly hold that against Rosen as some end-all be-all.
Elway had a poor college record, as did many many successful NFL passers.
However, I’m thinking that seriously might be the first time it’s happened if he goes first overall.
If Darnold plays against Washington State with more starters available, they likely win that game.
So I think that is a bit unfair. Darnold accomplished a shitload in the face of adversity. Even getting his team to a NY 6 bowl game was impressive, IMO.
