Jae Crowder, See Ya When We See Ya

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I mentioned this before but from what I've read about him, Crowder just isn't built to be on a LeBron team. For him to be an effective NBA player, he needs to be in peak physical shape. For Crowder that means he needs to practice all the time and play 30+ minutes a game. Apparently he had conditioning and weight issues in college. He is built like a football player not a basketball player.

It's time for the front office to realize their mistake with Crowder and trade him. Same thing goes for IT.

So what you are saying is he isn’t self-motivated to stay in shape and needs to rely on team activities for conditioning? That’s pathetic.

I really wish there was even one small intangible thing that this guy did well.

I was one of them. Ugh.

I was only talking about his catch and shoot 3pt percentage, and the possibility of him focusing on defense and rebounding. The argument was that he would NOT be better than George, but that he would be a better FIT next to LBJ.

Man, did that ever NOT end up being true. lol

The fall we've experienced from our offseason "potential" to where we are currently is quite disappointing. On paper, we looked formidable. Sadly, Boston sold high on players who were primed to return to their status quo play.

While I was wrong on that one, I was DEAD FUCKING RIGHT about trying to trade IT right away. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Bossman99 is kinda leaving a lot to be desired out there...That said so has LeBron James...

Any trade that ships this guy out is a win as far as im concerned!

For the record, I personally banned the guy who spent two years making up blockbuster trades with the Celtics and spamming them all over the board in every thread... and now the evidence of why that was a clown trade is on full display. This was a classic three quarters for a dollar trade.

This guy may be the biggest con artist in the league

Shame on myself for falling for it

First time commenting in this thread, but...My God, Crowder sucks.

Crowder could have been a really nice backup three for us. Instead, we made him a starter and have played him out of position at the 4.

It's just been a really bad fit for him here.

He's certainly not as advertised physicality wise even more so than his awful skill set which surprising when you look at his profile. Even with Brad Stevens wizardry, many Boston fans felt he was overrated and that Brown should've gotten his minutes. The glaring thing about his six year career is that last year wasn't a trajectory for a player of his age/experience (46% FG, 39% 3pt) but clearly a one-off, as he's regressed back to the mean.

Does anyone think he has value around the league still? Have we ruined it or will other teams see that we have him out of position and in a bad situation chemistry wise?

I want to believe that he is still one of our relatively valuable trade assets. Please tell me this has not been ruined?
