Game #53 Cavs vs Wolves game thread !

It isn't just Cedi's effort. His defensive ability has been A+ in this game.

There's maybe two mistakes he's made. Didn't get back on a transition three in 1st half and left Wiggins open for a three in transition in 2nd half(and you could say he got beat off the dribble once, but made it back enough to throw off the layup attempt). Everything else has been a plus defensive play. The man is boxing out too. Good to finally see him get some rotation minutes again.

Basketball is rocket science.
 
Lebron's energy is so much better with the bench group. I would trade as many of our current starters as possible.

Yeah that's true. He is busting his ass, I gotta remember that Butler is a top-3/4 shooting guard in basketball and Smith is in his early thirties and never been touted for defense in the first place.

When he's shooting like this, we can live with slightly below average to average defense out of him.
 
Pretty sure Lue has run LeBron for going on 14+ straight minutes. Don't remember him coming out in the third but I may be wrong.
 
I think this is a good OS tration that Jr and Tristan are actually pretty good at defense but they can't play it by themselves. They become much more engaged when everyone else is playing as well

Because LeBron has had one of the worst +/-'s in the NBA and the worst of his career the last month+ and its frustrating, fascinating, and the epicenter of what drives this team on a nightly basis.

Welp, here comes Rose into the game to fuck everything up.
 
Minnesota makes the fewest threes per 100 of any team in the NBA. They don’t shoot them, they don’t make them. I’m pretty sure they make fewer in practice than this.

Cavs are probably going to lose a game in which they scored 30+ in each of the first three quarters, had 101 after 3 quarters, were shooting 63% and 58% from three...it’s just ridiculous.
