Round 1 Game 1 | Cavs vs Pacers | April 15, 2018 | 3:30 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
LeBron not coming out aggressive to start the playoffs is not a good sign. I've never seen that from him. I wonder about his future with the Cavs.
Also, I stand by that he should not have played all 82 games. He needed rest. LeBron rarely places a reg season achievement over being healthy/rested for the playoffs. Just odd decisions all year that are questionable. Game 2 will tell us everything. That should be LeBron's "I'll do it myself" game he has every series. If he plays like today, regardless if we win, I think his mind is elsewhere.

Lebron was not aggressive in the first quarter. I felt that set the tone when the team was off Lebron needed to step up and did not. Understand the team was shooting terribly but need Lebron's leadership there.
Like I've said that's very unusual and even suspect. LeBron rarely ever comes out passive in Gm 1. Sure he might not play his best but he usually is aggressive and engaged early.

This was an alarming loss. LeBron has never lost a R1 G1. There is no flip of the switch on defense for this team. It’s all bad.

We gave up 98 points. That's better than most games this season. The offense was the problem today.

Very reminiscent of every final cavs playoff loss of a season. LeBron not aggressive enough and nobody else stepping up.

So to make me feel better?

How badly are the Pacers going to get slaughtered in the playoffs after this?

Because Oladipo is an overrated hack.
This could be like the LeBron Heat era teams that got legit scares from Indiana, but prevailed and won championships.

:fnd (7):

But ultimately LeBron doesn't matter (yes he matters) if the others guys aren't good. Tough to get out the east/win a championship.

Yea the 82 games could come back to bite him. Hope not.

Unlike several posters who tore into LeBron in the regular season today is a prime example what the team looks like when LeBron isn't all time great.

I think he'll step it up next game. But is the "save us LeBron" stuff something of the past.

Cause we'll still run into a buzzsaw....Lets hope the new guys just had 1st game jitters.

I remember the Pistons and Celtics series it seemed like he was letting other guys shine. Kyrie took over.

Fuck Indy and fuck Oladipo

I asked my Oklahoma based brother about him.

"Nobody cared about this guy around here. Nobody. Everyone talked about Steven Adams, Westbrook or Durant..but I never heard a single word about him"

He's the Peyton Hillis of the NBA.

Lebron never believed we can go far in playoffs with this team, thats why he was pushing for league mvp this year. he knows it.
Agree. That's also why he placed more emphasis on playing all 82, all-star MVP. I honestly think he believes they don't have enough. However, he might actually ALLOW us to lose earlier. I was thinking ECF... He might refuse to go God mode this round. If so... early vacation.

Dipo is a stud.

Then why oh why did he do next to nothing in Oklahoma?

He's getting sloppy blowjobs from the Indiana media and fans because he has a degree from that POS school down in bloomington..

Dipo is a stud.

I’d trade Cedi Love Hood and #8 for him but Indy would say no.

Make him defend a scoring PG hell a point guard that does something offensively and oladipo won’t have energy on the offensive end
