Another example why Altman should be fired .
This take is as stupid as fuck.
I can’t wait for lue to trot out a Perkins TT Jeff green lineup.
Game #5 adjustments (assuming Hill will play):
- Don't run LeBron and JR the first 12 minutes of the game. Get them some rest at about the three minute mark. Those two guys are too damn old to play at a playoff level for that long of a period. You can see them both start breaking down towards the end of the first quarter every game.
- Play more Larry Nance. It's simple. Love has been bad, Nance has not. Make the switch.
- Keep getting Korver more open looks. He's been good in both our victories, and we need him to keep playing like that if we want a chance. He'll hit some, and he'll miss some. He did a good job on Bojan down the stretch.
- Give Osman some spot minutes for Christ's sake. Let him spell LeBron for three minutes at the end of the first and third quarters. LeBron has been garbage in the third quarters, so no reason to play him the entire time and then continue to ride him into the fourth.
- Throw Ty Lue and Tristan off the team plane.
I think all Osman comments should remain in the Osman thread .Tiring to see his name pop up in every thread and he’s not even a difference maker. Cedi hasn’t played in like 2 weeks, expecting him to jump in and play + basketball is absurd and ludicrous. Plus all the rookie mistakes will heavily negate whatever positive his energy brings . In fact his energy may even work against him.Yy
I think he ought to start osman for the first few minutes of the third to inject some energy and buy korver some rest.

Everyone keeps mentioning how Lebron has not lost in first round in forever. And because we are having a tough series this means we are going no where this year, we have no shot, the sky is falling, Lebron is out, etc etc etc etc
R-E-L-A-X
Just last year, we did sweep the Pacers-but we only outscored them by 4 pts per game-it was the closest 4 game sweep in history--that series could have easily went 5 or 6 games.
This Pacers team is the best first round opponent Lebron has ever played. In fact they had as good or a better record than 5 of the 2nd round teams Lebron has played in the last 12 years. This Pacers team is really good. They would have given the Raps, Celtics and 76ers the same tough battle.
Now I don't think we are favorites to win a title. But the finals are quite a ways off-and over the years we seem to play better in each round.
The one very encouraging thing about this series is our defense has played MUCH better than it did during the regular season. If we continue to do that and our shooting gets back to the norm. We should be in good shape going forward.
If we make it out of this round the team will be much better and tougher from the style of play and the overall challenge the Pacers have presented.I think you are right. Pacers would have 2 games on the Raptors too.
Its good for the young guys on the team to be beat up and deer in the headlights now too instead of in later rounds.
Still there are major problems going forward.
Kevin Love at Center isn't helping Kev or us.
If our 2nd best player can't play to his best and ends up getting outperformed by opposition's all four front-court players for 4 games running, may be its time to change the system instead of continuing with it. Start Larry. Have some energy, size and physicality in that starting unit.
