For the first time in years I am excited about an NFL season. Last time was with Brian Hoyer.
It feels like we are finally taking analytics seriously. Hyde has constantly been underused throughout his career, Tyrod is a solid bridge, our receiving core is stacked, and most advanced analytics have Mayfield, Ward, and Chubb as some of the best respective players at their positions 3-5 years out.
Now, analytics in football are far less developed than in the NBA and MLB, are are more on par with European football. But I at least feel like we have a strategy and are sticking to it.
I can’t wait for NFL Sundays.
