There is no GM in the history of the world worse than George Kokinis and Ray Farmer.

No. He must jump into freezing water and DIE to satisfy the Browns fans in this forum!!!If this is true then I'm fine with the cop out. I just wanted to point out that if you say you will jump in the lake in a press conference in January no one is picturing jumping in the lake in June.

Kokinis wasn't even the GM really...Mangini will openly say he used a draft guide to make the selections the first year he was in charge. By draft guide, it was a book a private scout made and that was the base for our board. Can't remember the cost of it but reporters have said how much it was on podcasts. Like it wasn't a newstand price item but it also wasn't the amount of money you would expect a NFL team would have to pay for that much scouting.
Well, in that case, he’s the first GM we’ve had to accomplish what he set out to do.I mean none of these guys were "good" per se.
But the best thing you can say about Sashi is like, he made the team bad intentionally. That's the opposite of a ringing endorsement.

That’s worth something.

He also fell on his sword to kill that abomination of a AJ McCarron trade.
Allegedly, anyways. If that is really what went down, then that is actually the best thing he did. Which, again, means he was still pretty awful.
With our luck McCarron will turn out to be good.
The Sashi stuff is all a joke right? Like I’m pretty sure it’s just a running gag with Chris
Sashi was objectively the best GM this team has had since the return besides maybe Heckert if you believe that the Walrus forced the Weeden pick and he was one of the best GMs in the entire NFL. Top 10 at the very least
I don't want to keep rehashing the Sashi argument. For the most part I liked what Dorsey did in this draft.
I think Sashi will ultimately be the great unknown. I don't think he was worried for his job, I think he thought he would have a few years since it was a total gut job. I think had the time line sped up and he knew about it he would have made more plays. This is all speculation on my part, but I think they would have been just as active this year with Sashi at the helm as Dorsey has been.
I get the frustration of being 1-31, he's not totally at blame for this. We were playing younger guys with a bottom 3 NFL coaching staff, it's not exactly hard to figure out why they struggled the last two years.
