ECF | Game 5 | Cavs (2-2) @ Boston (2-2) | May 23rd, 2018 | 8:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
All is not lost. Cavs will win game six and anything can happen in game seven. I put my money on LeBron to deliver.
After tonight's game I'll be watching LeBron to see if he's checked out mentally. This game was a disaster and this team does not show up on the road. They will get destroyed in the finals by either team. I'm no longer in denial. LeBron I'm sure is coming to terms after tonight. Not enough.

People banging on LeBron really need to get a grip. Not one starter shot over 50 percent from the field and the next star up Love only scored 14 points. The starting back court was just embarrassing. Lue's rotations are outright laughable at times. Can't count on anyone being consistent off the bench for an entire game. Twenty six points on any other team especially when the opposing team didn' score 100 points should be enough to win the game if other players do their jobs.

Why the fuck is Clarkson still in the rotation? He hasn't had a good game all playoffs.

You give JR the first 5 or 6 minutes and see if his head is in or out of his ass and go from there. You don’t blindly run him 25-30 irrespective of his production.

At the end of the day, I just have to say fuck Lue. It would take a real dumbass to lose a series with LeBron against a team ravaged by injury, but he is on the damn doorstep.

Well I think LeBron would love to have him right now...

Well we can have him this summer if he really wants him that bad. But I think there will be a couple better players we can get our hands on.

Wtf does this mean?
Means LeBron feel confident we can beat the Celtics anytime. He wants to avoid the Warriors ( I don't blame him) and rather play the Rockets. In order to make sure we meet the Rockets in the final, we might have to go to a 7 game series with the Celtics instead of eliminating them right away.

Game is on Lue 100%, tbh.

The rotations were fucking WHACK.
Starters played like crap but Lue could of put the cavs in a better situation to win but he didn't. He sees adjusting his game to matchups and his opponents lineups as being weak and has to much pride to do anything he would deem as "reactionary"
Its why we were down against GS 3-1 in the first place.

Lue has no offensive system. he has no Lue stamp on the defense the only thing he has that is systematic is his predetermine set in stone rotations.
If the rotations fail then it was the players failed to execute.

I mean which scenario do you think gives us a better shot at retaining LeBron?

We make the trade. Get Walker. Beat Boston. Play the Warriors. Get obliterated.

We don't make the trade. Still have the pick. Lose to Boston, who go on to get swept by the Warriors.

I feel like having the pick as a vehicle to acquire a star-level player hand-picked/recruited by LeBron is basically our only chance at keeping him.

So yeah I'd still rather have the pick going into the off-season than Kemba.

I mean...we can still trade the pick for Kemba. Like...Charlotte would totally do that shit if we called them.
I hear what your saying, but at the same time I don't see any stars we can get were other teams can't offer a better deal. Unless lebron james recruits Paul George into a sign and trade. Do we have enough cap space to sign an all-star?

And if none of these scenarios play out? Houston has home court in the best of 3. Golden State is flat out not as good as last year.

And no matter how you slice it, we wasted a year of LeBrons career and I feel he could easily leave for that reason alone. At least Walker gives us a punchers chance.

I'm not gonna bullshit you. If Walker were on this team Im not picking us to beat GS or Houston this year. But I'm doubting LeBron sees it that way.

The Cavs rolled the dice the pick would be better than it was and lost.

If this isn't an attempted joke that missed, it is embarassingly stupid.
