Corey Coleman

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
With the 15th pick in the 2016 NFL draft the Browns take one of the most explosive playmakers in the draft.

PFF ranked him the best WR in the class. I personally agree with them. I think he has the potential to be one of the most explosive WRs in the NFL.

For so long we have been starving for a legit game changing playmaker. Well here he is. And he's gonna be a damn good one. Browns fans are gonna love this guy. And remember, we get this guy in addition to 2 second rounders, 2 third rounders and a first rounder. Pretty damn good start to the new regime.

Oh yeah, he's a pretty tough mother fucker too

Hilarious OP in hindsight.

Not sure why people are acting like

1. Coleman’s career is over just because the Browns gave up on him

2. He wasn’t a first round prospect at the time

It’s not like the Browns just picked the consensus 231st ranked player in the first round and outsmarted everyone. Coleman was very highly ranked in the draft process.

Not trying to be an ass over here, but leading up to the draft I was sour on Coleman. I will admit that I didn't think it would go this badly. I figured he would be disappointing as a rookie with some upside to learn his craft. I did not expect the injuries and I did not expect him to have so much diva in his personality, but I haven't been high on players coming out of Baylor for quite a while.

That’s fine that you were. I’m sure there were more than just a handful that were. But acting like it was so obvious to everyone at the time and the guy had minimal talent is just not true

Take your beating like a man with the rest of them. This is a hill that a whole thread’s worth of posters have already died on. Admit defeat and free yourself.

This is his year!!!

The breakout is coming!!

This the guy who got hurt falling on the football. We were told when he was drafted that he made up for his lack of size with a 'Steve Smith' type attitude and drive. Never saw anything close to that. The draft pick struck me as Smartest Man Syndrome, especially with Michael Thomas right there available and ready to produce. But I tried to believe. Frankly, few WRs are great in year one, it's usually year 3 when they blossom after a productive year 2. Coleman spent year 2 being a non factor.

At least Dorsey gave him until camp to win over his coaches and apparently he didn't. One thing that does concern me: Coleman at least did some of the off-season workouts that Taylor arranged, so if the coaching staff still felt that Corey was behind the 8 ball, you got to wonder how they feel about the other WR who has even less familiarity and has yet to arrive.

For now on I'm just going to post that the newly drafted player of the Browns will not be playing in their 3rd season with them. At least I'll have a better chance at being right than calling it a homerun stud of a pick.

Literally no one is currently calling it a homerun stud of a pick

must be extremely difficult to understand the difference between saying his career isn’t over and that he was a great pick. It’s asking a lot
