2018-19 Season Game #1 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors | October 17th, 2018 @ 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hope Colin makes a bucket tonight so we don’t have to spend all day wondering if an Anthony Bennett Watch is in effect:chuckle:

Yea this is a pretty epically bad rookie debut lol.

Sad thing is it doesn't look like this can be excused with inexperience. He just doesn't look talented enough.

90 points thru 3.....D is still the big problem!

Hey guys, Colin Sexton is terrible.

We could probably have had Kemba Walker for him (or his draft pick anyway) and given ourselves a puncher's chance to keep Lebron. just sayin'

Is Collin high??
Trae Young is 2-for-10 right now against the Knicks. Kevin Knox is 4-for-15 against the Hawks. First games for really young rookies are notoriously ... rough.

Even as readymade as Kyrie was for the NBA, I think he was like 2-12 for 7 points and 5 turnovers in his first ever game... and looked high as well (probably was).

Not saying Collin will be Kyrie, but playing in Toronto is a rough assignment for opening night as a 19yo rookie.

Clarkson and Sexton together is probably the worst combo you can have on the court from our roster. Complete mess on offense, zero defense.

kind of weirdly entertaining in a cringey sort of way right now though.

But Sexton has a good excuse at least. It's not Clarkson's first game.

Jordan Clarkson is a fucking black hole on offense. You gotta think that his teammates know this and it throws off the flow of the game.

Sexton's horrible finishing really makes you appreciate just how good kyrie was at that as a rookie.
Kyrie's 1st game

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- So how did Kyrie Irving look to the fans at Quicken Loans Arena?

How about like a 19-year-old point guard in his first NBA game. A sentence like that means is was a long night for the No. 1 pick in the Cavaliers' 104-96 loss to Toronto. While some fans will focus on Irving's miserable 2-of-12 shooting night, the other eye-opener and heart-stopper for the kid from Duke was Jose Calderon.

Sexton is OBVIOUSLY nervous and learning on the fly out there. lol

Leave it to RCF's Negative Nancy's to step up and shit on him.

He literally did not make one positive play the entire game on either end.
