2018-2019 Tank Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
They let you pick A la carte like that? I use Sling, which has gotten way better in quality, but they are not letting you choose individual channels as easily as before and it has gotten more expensive. I am annoyed.
I ditched cable a year ago..have a ROKU TV and a Roku stick for the other TV which I got on EBAY.
I do have the Spectrum TV choice app..which is cheap and I loaded the ESPN/NFL Network/TBS/TNT/FS1 on it...
Then I downloaded FOXSPORTSGO app on the Roku.
Don't miss the cable bill at all.

I do but it’s like right on a weird border of Dayton and Cincy where they rarely play Cavs games and most times they do I’m at work
Who do you have internet with ?

If you do the Sling 7 day free trial...you can use that login to go into FOXSPORTSGO and log in their app when it asks you for TV provider.
I just canceled it last night before I had to pay.
When I go home today I'll see if I can still see Foxsports Ohio.
I think the downside will be if I get booted out of the app for any reason(power failure, etc) ..and I have to actually log in again, my access to a lot of live content will be gone.

Be careful what you wish for. The future of streaming TV is each network creating their own $10-$15 a month service. NBC and Disney launch in 2019.

It's pretty crazy. Right before Hulu a lot of networks had free streaming online. ABC had a really good service and you could watch anything on demand. It was awesome.

I'm sure it will go that way. It is already pretty annoying how many there are.

I think they all think they can be the next Netflix but outside of Disney, none will have the content or the money to build the library Netflix has. With how people binge shows, it won't cut it just to have 2 or 3 orginal shows for people to pay a year round subscription.

I was hoping Abc/Disney/espn would get the local sports networks in the fox deal but the FCC blocked it. That could have created worth while streaming service for sports.

Networks are going to pull their content from Netflix and put it on their own service. Friends, The Office and Parks and Rec are the most popular shows and NBC owns the rights them. In the end, I think pirating makes a big comeback.

I saw those stats for the most watch shows on Netflix. It's was by percentage of views. I think it was misleading because I tend to put on old shows as background for when I'm doing other things. When I want to watch a show with the majority of my attention though, I'm putting on things I've never seen before, which is usually orginal content.

It's hard to know if people would stay or leave Netflix base on those shows. I like all those old shows but they wouldn't change my mind on staying or leaving. Orginal content would for me.

Also maybe we should talk about this to the cord cutting thread in the off-topic part of the forum.

Cavs are at the bottom of the NBA, it looks like. TANK ROLLIN

Losing to the bulls helped a lot. Ayton is also killing it for the Suns, so the fact the Cavs are slumping without Tristan helps.

Larry has been playing well, but I think him taking over the playmaking looks better than the results.

Cavs will do better when Tristan and Love come back. In the mean time, we inflicted a win on the Bulls that will sting them hard come lottery night in May!!

Personally, I thin 6th or 7th seed is the ideal spot to be in the draft this year.

7th seed? Are you high? We want to be amongst the worst records.

This is bad though, no? Don’t we want to end up 2 or 3 or something with the new lottery?

The new lottery is weird because the percentages are less for the worse teams but they also added one lottery spot. The 4th pick is now a spot a team can win so the worst record can theoretically drop to 5 now.

I think we will see how deep our front office thinks this draft is for tier 1 and 2 players by how hard they force the tank at the end of the season. I actually think teams will tank harder because they know they can get bumped easier and further down now.

How I wish we were the Sacramento Kings right now lol

It's very hard to watch an entire game, which I don't..very hard.
