So Long Jordan Clarkson ( aka Chucky McJumperson)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I agree. Just for building the team, I think the ceiling and development goes up if Clarkson is off the team. I think we have too many ball handlers or guys who need the ball in their hands to make an impact. Moving Clarkson, Hood, and Burks frees up ball handling duties for Sexton, Nance, and Cedi to grow their games. We will most likely use Love at the elbow when he is healthy too. Getting spot up shooters and guys that can cut to the basket could make for a better version of basketball than we are currently seeing.

I still can't believe that Burks was the Jazz's second best 3 point shooter. They are in bigger trouble than us. they are supposed to be competitive.

I am really curious if anyone bites on Clarkson. He is shooting better this year. Has more lift on his shot.

Every time he starts to grow on me, he has a game like last night, real hard to watch as a basketball fan in general.

If we had a more defined starting 5, I'd have no problem with Clarkson as our 20/min a game scorer off the bench, but any role expanded beyond that is disaster.

You are liking him because of Delly. He really mitigates some of the poor decisions and tunnel vision of Clarkson. He can't run an offense. He needs to be a 2 guard and release valve rather than option 1,2, and 3

I think some team will have to be real top heavy and see Clarkson as instant upgrade for their not so good bench. Maybe Portland or the Kings will want him. He could be good off the Sixers bench if TJ McConnell can be like Delly and control the ball.

Yeah their bench stinks, I could see that. Next question is what would you want from Philly?

How about Memphis? They could use a 2 off the bench and a backup center too.

Clarkson + Henson (he gets healthy for their playoff push/or a servicable backup next year) for Parsons and picks, at least one 1st?

Read that of all teams GSW feel they do not have any offense off the bench. Clarkson would fit the bill. Do they have anyone we would have interest in......other than the 9 all-stars

Honestly when he is on, there are certainly some entertaining aspects to his game. He can get his shot off anytime with his 30" jumpshot vertical.

The frustration as yall have mentioned is that that sort of activity should be happening with 7 seconds left on the shot clock, not 17.

Just wanted to make you feel not so bad about him sometimes growing on you.

Played well his last couple of games, both wins. Seems to have something with Nance, they make a nice combo off the bench.

Clarkson can score no doubt. He would be a valuable piece off the bench for a contender. If not this year then next year with his expiring contract We should get a good asset for him probably next years deadline
