He will bring something decent at trade deadline next yearThis statline is GOAT tank commander material right there.
He has a shot at surpassing Antawn Jamison on the Cavs all-time list, and that's not a small deal. Proud of him.
The guy can score. He always tries hard and seems to be a good teammate but probably need to get trade him so Sexton doesn't pick up his zero court awareness. He will bring something decent at trade deadline next year

I don't think you trade Clarkson just for Sexton's development but team building in general. Clarkson just makes it really hard to develop anyone in the second unit. With all the second round picks this team has in the future, we need a second unit to try to develop those players. I'm not sure anyone has looked better playing in the second unit with Clarkson this year vs playing with the starters. Even Nance who plays alot of buddy ball with Clarkson tends to be more of a team player when he is starting.
Clarkson has value, I think we get down on this guy, but he really doesn't belong on a young team.
Clarkson is instant offense off the bench. He is not a pg, not really even a combo guard, but for a contender looking to improve bench scoring, Clarkson could add some value. Next year we need to find that team and take their late 1st round pick for it.
I don't think any team serious about winning could want Clarkson. He basically takes the second unit hostage, more Jamal Crawford than Lou Will.
Agreed. His expiring will get a deal done. And some team will be enticed by his scoring. For the Cavs it would be addition by subtraction.I think you are right but I think the combo of his expiring and a bad bench or injuries could push a team to want Clarkson at the trade deadline.
