Joe looks good. Go get that MNF slot and bring forth redemption to the abortion that has been mnf commentary
With that transformation... His wife is not gonna allow him to unretire and play LT ever again... Lol
Is this being discussed? That would be great. How great would it be to have Joe Thomas calling MNF Browns games?
Dammit. It’s going to be so hard to keep our core together.DeMarcus Lawrence gets 5 years, $105 million
Something to keep in mind as a baseline.

Obviously Baker, Garrett, and now OBJ won’t be going anywhere, but still...
Thanks for posting. I thought this was really good. I wish there were more film plays but Joe does a great job talking through a combination of personal stories, technique details, and football dynamics on the field.

With as competitive as Baker is, I would not be surprised. But just having an actual quarterback for the first time in a long time, I suppose I shouldn't worry about how much we're going to have to pay him.Who know, maybe one or more of them take the Tom Brady route and don't demand every last penny to maximize their own salaries. I mean, it's possible.

Yes, I kind of think this Russell Wilson drama--that ended in that massive contract--came off how you are suggesting.Going for the last penny is different in a league like the NFL that has a hard cap, versus the NBA. In the NBA, you can always point to the owner as the bad guy for being unwilling to pay the luxury tax. But in the NFL, every penny that gets paid to one player on a max-out team is a penny that doesn't get paid to someone else.
And when you're already the highest paid player on your team and are supposed to be the leader...it's kind of an awkward look.
