2019 Series #5 | Indians @ Royals | April 12th, 13th, and 14th

Shocking that the Tribe was desperate to trade Kluber for fair market value, and equally as shocking that no team came close to meeting their demands.

The writing was on the wall last season with his decrease in velocity/missed bats and increase in hard-hit contact.
Their entire offseason strategy was predicated on a Colon-type haul for Kluber to shed payroll and replenish the farm with blue-chip position players.
Sadly, other teams knew the score on Kluber.
Watch the Tribe try to dump him at the deadline for pennies on the dollar, in order to get out under the remaining money on
Woah dude, must be that Cleveland curse again! Rats!

I'll get back to you after the deadline.

Breezed through his stats very quickly, but I believe Kluber had never walked more than 4 batters until today

We’ve seen shitty Kluber in April before. We’ll see.

KC was 2-10 to start the series and I knew we were cursed when the guy on the radio said "Well we will be 11-4 after the KC series"........freaking idiot you never assume you sweep someone hell we might not win a game.

2 hits yesterday pathetic and 2 of our best pitchers getting smoked what the hell Kluber.

Thank you for being brave enough to say so after a bad start.

You called it.

By the way, what drop in velocity? Are you sure this isn’t something you’re making up?

The Indians offense vs the Mariners offense has me feeling pessimistic for this upcoming series

Great come back after a devastating start to the game.

Pretty much everyone getting into the action on offense.

Excited for when Lindor, Kipnis, and JRam return to the lineup

As for Kluber, we have seen him have both slow April’s before and usually 1-2 stretches of 2-3 weeks per season we’re its just not working for him. Hopefully this is just one of those small stretches. I wouldn’t assume otherwise until it becomes seriously prolonged
