That is a big ass roster. And 6-3 Henry Pujols will be back down once Berardi gets healthy for Lake County.

Jhon Torres would have likely been there as well if he wasn't apart of the Mercado trade and he is 6'4, so they have really been targeting physical specimens overall it feels like.

Do you guys know what adjustment Ka'ai Tom made for this season? I know at one point he was a top 30 prospect for the Indians, but hasn't produced much this season, so is he doing anything differently this season?

Another odd question, but what do you guys also think of Gose as a pitching prospect? I remember him as the speedy OF who couldn't really hit well, and now he seems to be putting things together as a pitcher this season with us, I wanted to know if you thought he could be any good, or will he just fizzle like his bat did at the pros with his arm.

Until Gose stops walking almost a guy per inning, he's a nobody. He throws hard though.

As for Tom, he's a 25 year old repeating AA, I would hope he'd find some success.

This might be the best offensive prospect the Indians have had since Manny Ramirez.

When should be expect Rodriguez and Valera to make their way to the states? Either for the AZL or Short A?

Valera is going to open in Mahoning Valley, I believe. He's been here and played in the AZL last year.

I think Rodriguez should absolutely be on his way to the states in the next few weeks. Would be shocked if he's not with the AZL this season or if he breaks camp in Low-A next year, depending on just how much they want to push him and how he responds.

“I’m feeling pretty well,” Valera said. “It’s a learning experience, because it teaches you patience: recovering, taking time off, thinking outside of baseball, learning and watching the game. That’s what it really taught me… I hope we can be one of the best outfields defensively, and we’ll try to make as many diving catches as we can.”

The Scrappers roster boasts three prospects in IBI’s top-10: Valera (No. 3), RHP Ethan Hankins (5), and SS Brayan Rocchio (8). The roster also includes two additional prospects ranked in IBI’s top-30: SP Carlos Vargas (16) and INF Raynel Delgado (28).

Bobby Bradley smoked another homer tonight in Columbus.

Borderline team sabotage that he's not up in Cleveland yet.

I'd say that's a tad hyperbolic. I would like to see him up as well, but there are a lot of reasons to question his readiness to contribute at the major league level.

Somebody on twitter said that he doesn't handle curveballs/sliders very well yet and he's kind of Cerrano-like in that he pretty much just feasts on fastballs. You know if that's true? If it is, I could see that as a reason why he's still down there.

Lot less hanging sliders/curves in the major leagues for him to take advantage of.

There's still some real swing and miss in Bradley's bat, and that doesn't really mesh with the Indians hitting philosophy as a whole, so I'm really interested in seeing where this goes.

He's got ~240 PA's this year. 80 K's, 20 Walks, 18 HR's. That's a pretty Three True Outcomes heavy profile.....

The new ball in AAA really agrees with him though.

He's still improving so it's not hurting his development by staying in AAA.

The whole striking out 1/3 of the time in AAA without having a really high walk rate to go with it is my primary concern when trying to establish whether or not his production will translate from Columbus to Cleveland

Another homer for Bradley.

I think we are all kind of ready to see him in a tribe uniform, but his SO numbers are alarming especially since the MLB club needs to cut that down to begin with.

Mathias is up to .297/.362/.482 slash line. I know the resident experts are like he really isn't anything as a prospect overall, but its getting hard to keep ignoring his numbers at AAA and at some point if he keeps this up, you almost have to give him a look as well.
