Game 12| Cavs @ Pistons | 7:30pm Nov. 18th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You're telling me to stop flipping yet you're cussing at me? Shut the hell up. I dont care what the hell this team did

TWO YEARS AGO!!!!

Jesus. This is a new season, all I hear about is how this is fine that we cant beat any great teams...and if our last road win over a great team was in the middle of last season, something is wrong. And let's not forget Detroit has Allen Iverson now who did exactly what he was supposed to tonight: close us out.

THESE ARE FACTS. If you dont like them, maybe you need to "GTFO". I already said I'm not leaping off or anything, but rather STATING FACTS. If that isn't constructive I dont know what you want me to do, ride LBJ's jock and tell you they played a fabulous game?

Maybe this loss means more to me because I value statement games, or because I now have to listen to Detroit fans I know mock me for the next 3 months, or what. But it is what it is. Some people need to get their heads out of the ground and realize we are a long ways from becoming a team that can win the NBA Finals. I'm not saying we need more pieces (although we need 1 more piece I think) but rather these guys need to do some soul searching, and muster up the will to play championship basketball ON THE ROAD..against GREAT teams.

I'm sorry, you're absolutely right. Both starting guards getting in early foul trouble, opening a weakness since the 4th guard off the bench is out, and being tired from a road back to back is solid proof why this team won't be in the Finals.

I apologize for the inconvenience. The 82 game regular season is highly representative of the playoffs and NBA finals.

I saw idiots like you on the Celtics board last year when they were 0-2 against Cleveland in Cleveland. Homefield advantage in the NBA, especially in the regular season, is huge. Stop making a fuss out of 1/82nd of the regular season, you dolt.

cmstophe is right about this being a statement game as EVERYONE stated it was before the game; and we lost. So now, let's figure out how to beat these new look Pistons the next time. All this talk about the Cavs being the #3 team in the league is bullshit if we can't win without 100% production out of LeBron... Again, as currently constructed, I don't think the Cavaliers are championship bound -- we need to make some serious changes.

An off day with poor decision making that ended up biting us, don't get too caught up this early in the season over one game. It's November 19, the next time we meet the Pistons is on Feb. 1st with rest. They'll get a little bit better and have time to gel with AI more, but we will transverse from a great team to a championship-caliber team by that time (and maybe with a new addition too). Things will be different, kinks will be worked out and we'll get the W guransheed. I know this loss hurts against the dreaded Piss-ons, but it's not like it counts as a double loss or anything. Feel free to pull up a stool at my glass half full tavern anytime fans.

Who's fault is that getting in early foul trouble?

Dolt.

Blah blah blah, 1/82, 1 out of 82, 1 out of 82...keep telling yourself that. I guess all that talk about wanting the regular season this year to be "different" and more "serious" was just that: talk.

Pack it in guys! Season dont start till April, according to this guy!

Dont bother agreeing with me. I am apparently a "dolt" and if I am upset that we blow a perfect opportunity to make an early statement, I dont know what I am talking about and need to "GTFO".

:chuckles: I love that insult, can't put my finger on the inspiration though. Look, I'm not trying argue with you, I'm quoting your posts because they're representative of all of this garbage that floats around from time to time. I'm not saying the season starts in April, but the Cavs are undefeated at home and have lost 3 of 12 games, but you circle one game on the road on your calendar and if the Cavs lose it, you're ready to drive to LeBron's house and tell him about it. I'm done though. If you want to get this worked up over regular season games, have at it. It's your BP not mine.

Get that Hawks game thread up, i need something else to focus on right now. I felt like we lost in the first round of the playoffs and i'm about to commit suicide. Hawks lost four in a row i believe, we have kick them while their down. Bibby is a horrid defender and Mo has been heating up. Should be fun...........

If you're not trying to "argue with me" then quit jacking up insults like Lebron jacks up horrible, aneurism-inducing 3 pt attempts.

Since apparently nothing I say is getting through your skull ,let me try this:

I WOULD GLADLY TRADE THE NETS WIN...FOR A WIN TONIGHT.

How's that?

You really are a dolt lol. You are way over reacting to a loss against a team that won well over 50 games last year (I think 55 but i'm not checking). They are an elite team and have been the best in the east for six straight years. So calm down and walk away from the key board for a while and come bakc when you are thinking clearly.

Ok. Trade complete.

The Cavaliers are now: 9-3.

You got your wish.

This game deserves the anger. I don't care how good we've been so far -- tonight was bullshit. We gave up and settled for threes rather than being disciplined and sticking to our offense. If Lebron is the team leader, then regardless of how many stupid shots he actually took, he deserves the negative critique for leading by example tonight...just like he deserves the positive credit when he leads this team with hard/smart play.

Lol.. camakaze doesn't mean anything by it I'm sure; his posts are typically level-headed he's just pissed like the rest of us..

But I think your points are valid, and it was very important to win this game. I personally think Mike Brown was just as at fault as LeBron James; in fact, more so, because he had every opportunity to insure Mo Williams would get passes and he didn't. Instead he chose to allow LeBron (perhaps encouraged) to go LeIso like this was Game 5 all over again..

It's these losses that we Mike Brown haters never forget, and always bring up from time to time, even during 8 game winning streaks.

p.s.
I also agree, we lost to the Celtics, NOLA, and Detroit.. The toughest games we've faced, we lost every single one of them. That's very very telling of a systemic problem the Cavaliers face, and certainly not to be ignored. Perhaps we did have a fairly easy 8 game winning streak? Or, perhaps the Cavs were just tired in the 2nd half? Either way, we need to make a change.
