Welcome Ochai Agbaji from the future

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
since I got a couple trolls making negative comments about this kid even though he decided to return to Kansas and is all but assured a starting gig there where he can raise his stock, which btw also forced Grimes to decide not to return to Kansas despite pulling out of the draft.
Ogabji has as good of a chance as anyone in the NCAA's to rise from the ashes much in the same way Culver,Hunter,Okeke and others did in this years draft all capable defenders at the next level with upsides offensively.
You can pick apart his game just like anyone who is a kid that was underrecruited But he already proved everyone wrong for not paying attention to him before Self gave him a shot in ltd minutes being pulled from redshirt status for a short time while upperclassman higher in the rotation were injured.
I love stories like this, the Ja Morant's and Trae Young's of the world is exactly who Agbaji is.

Not sure how he's anything even close to Trae, but that's fine.

Guys I trust quite a big (in particular, Mike Gribanov) think that Ochai is a fringe 2nd round prospect at the moment.

We'll see, but you are riding him really hard at this point. I hope he does make himself into a great player, it would be a hell of a story.

not really and this thread was blown out of proportion by fools who never heard of him etc, but I was high on his upside early in the season before he got replaced by lesser players who Bill Self was catering to despite Agbaji being the better option for them to win.
I am not comparing his "game" to Trae Young at all, I am comparing them both being underrecruited and far better than 99% that are that underrecruited .
The thing that people argue about against him is always based on their lack of tape and any that say it isn't are lying. The tools and natural ability are elite, putting it all together in his soph season ( if given the means) should raise a lot of eyebrows.
If he doesn't and regresses than I guess it wasn't worth making a thread for him, but other bb sites I use have threads for every prospect that had only 1 video go viral so I think somebody could cut me some slack seeing how nobody makes threads for anyone on here if they are not employed by the Cavs and I didn't notice that when I started using this website.
I think Agbaji in year 2 will have a similar impact defensively as Okeke and Hunter , if that doesn't guarantee a 1st round pick than nothing will. I'd say your source needs to re-evaluate his estimation on Agbaji for 2020 because he was already getting scouts drooling over him if he stayed in as a late first steal

1st, Trae Young was the 23rd ranked prospect in a stacked recruiting class. Agbaji was 123rd. I wouldn't say that Young was under recruited, maybe a little over looked but he ended up in a big program with a lot of hype.

2nd, I'm going to trust someone whose job it is for a living like Mike Gribanov of The Stepien over some...basketball website? Viral video? I'm not sure where you got this information, but Gribanov is near the top of his profession.

3rd, and this is just some friendly advice: You're acting way too defensive. You make far too many attack posts at someone and are being a little too hostile. Even a lighthearted remark above set you off to make a post to attack all the "haters and fools". Maybe take a deep breath and walk away at a moment. @The Oi isn't out to make you dumb. It's....just his thing.

Personally for myself, I've never heard much about Agbaji and now I have something to check on during the 2020 class if he does show up big. I appreciate the thread and hope that he does show out.

Just so you understand my point of view regarding rankings:
Young was ranked 678th nationally and 6th in the state of Oklahoma the day he graduated from HS. That 23rd rank is an ESPN late to the party ranking. Young was very underrecruited.
Agbaji was 392 ranked nationally & 12th in Missouri the day he graduated HS.
I get the overreaction assumptions but to me nothing I am doing is overreacting just simply par for the course
when people throw trolling crap on my thread as if I came on here only to stir the pot . Suggesting they actually have nothing to offer besides what they throw in one liners and then they offer nothing besides that in retort proves they were trolling for approval by others like themselves that don't know anything about underrecruited options that would be excellent fits on the Cavs defensive depleted roster.

Your numbers are completely wrong. You totally misread Max Preps.

Trae Young's HIGH SCHOOL TEAM, the Norman North Timberwolves, was ranked 678th nationally and 6th in the state of Oklahoma.

Here's the link: https://www.maxpreps.com/high-schoo...rman,ok)/basketball-winter-16-17/schedule.htm

Trae himself was a top 25 recruit nationally from June of 2015 which was the summer between his sophomore and junior year of HS.

LOL Would you believe I was sedated when I wrote that ? you are correct , I was shocked when I saw he was ranked that low or that there were ever that many players ranked so the fact it was the team ranking makes more sense. Kind of kills my argument though.

It does.

And you know what they say about arguments that have been killed while under sedation...

Nobody said you had to leave though.

Pick another random ass player and we can kick you around.
I was telling you leave my thread captain one liner.
Agbaji doesn't get drafted in the lottery in 2020 and I will forfeit my
realcavsfans account. until then he is far from some random ass player,
but that's the point of making the thread, no stat junkies that rank players
based on production know diddly and easy to spot as they never acknowledge
that game recognizes game better than any other factor.
This guy is worse at basketball than @David. is at non-wheelchair softball.
he was the best player on his team in HS scoring and rebounding at elite levels. he is a underappreciated high iq nba prospect that was slept on by scouts and due to their sleeping despite showing flashes as a temporary patch pulled from redshirt status ,
followers like yourself remain clueless.
