Preseason Week 1: Redskins @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
so where are we going to find a kicker...these two guys will kill our season

Is it too late to hold Phil Dawson's family hostage?

I think Gary Anderson is still alive.

It really warms my heart to see Tim Couch covering Browns games.

Even back in 2004-2005 I felt he got such a raw deal from the Browns. They never invested in protecting him. Or getting him weapons, aside from wasting high picks on bums like William Green.

Dude had the hell beat out of him and in no way deserves any wrap of being a bust. He wasn't a bust; he belonged on an episode of Law & Order SVU as a victim of multiple counts of unwelcome, and ungentlemanly, sodomy.

Had he been properly developed, protected and empowered with weapons, I think he would have had, at the very least, a decent career as a lower-tier "Franchise QB," and maybe an occasional Pro-Bowler at best. Like a slightly better Matt Stafford.

He was poorly treated the fans back then as well, and it is edifying to see them embrace him now.

Sheeeee-heeeee! Ow!

Hee Hee!

I'm so happy for that guy. He is a return specialist in an era when return specialists are devalued. I don't see him making the roster and he seems to be shooting for a practice squad spot... but that guy knows his talent and got to show it on an NFL field.

If he can tackle on special teams, he could make the team, otherwise, not enough returned kicks and punts in 2019 to carry a specialist.

Just went through the thread to check out the tweens after the brutal Indians game.

That play in which Mayfield hit Higging for the chunk of yards and he gets tackled at the goal line — he has a guy coming at him full steam ahead and he just didn’t give a fuck and zipped it seamlessly.

Still remarkable to see that kind of play out there when for some reason I was thinking about Charlie Frye last night.

I watched the one drive Baker played. He looked very good. I still don't believe he is our qb, I really don't, doesn't seem possible.

Not to be a downer but sounds like the extent of Greedy’s preening strut slowly down to the endzone and back up the sideline with his thumb in his “belt buckle” after his pick didn’t make the video feed. It was sorta painful to watch live, as he held on to the ball and took it seemed like a minute of attention, especially after seeming to have blown the coverage for Skins one TD and Freddy already having words that he needs to learn what to do after he catches.

There might be a little extra ego there for Freddy to manage. Enough big dogs on the team though I assume to handle it.

What’s even more remarkable is that was Drew Stanton.

Is it me or does Callaway look extra thicc nowadays?
