2019 Series #39 | Indians vs. Red Sox | August 12th, 13th, and 14th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And Brewers just took the lead? Haha yeees, YEEEES.

I don't get the move at all. Mercado has been slumpin' and Santana has been hot. I get having the runner on third with one out. But stealin' third is pretty damn hard. Odds aren't with you.

You don't take away a chance for one of your best hitters to win the game for you. Awful.

Guys, can we not discuss losing Lindor or trading him when he comes up big for us?

Having said that, Mercado hit that ball deep enough that Frankie would have likely scored from third if he had successfully stolen the base.

Santana gets to be my avatar and replace the lovely Alex Morgan if he walks it off again.

Yeah, but it didn't mean dick. Lindor was out by a mile. The pitcher would literally have to be asleep at the wheel for it to work. And what are the odds of that, when the runner at second is the winning run. The decision was awful.

Santana would be batting with a running in scoring position. A base hit, could win it. That was a terrible decision.

Cameras caught JRam and Allen getting Lindor's attention after the 2B and telling him to 'watch for it'.

They knew Workman had a tell. Frankie just didn't get a great jump.... shit happens.

Unless Mercado had drawn a walk, regardless of whether or not Lindor was on second or third, if there was an open base, Boston would have intentionally walked Santana.
