2019 Browns Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Read an athletic article that was saying the browns might not trust all their tight ends right now. Which seems pretty bad since they had so much success with them last year. Seems like the 3 wr sets are gonna stay for a bit. Even when this team has talent it's still frustrating.
The list of roster mistakes Dorsey has made is starting to pile up.

And it begins.

Over/Under on 6 weeks before the groupthink starts calling for yet another regime change?

Thank God you demanded we stop talking about something to start focusing more on great stuff like this.

Dorsey has transformed this team into a potential contender, while its also plainly obvious that there are significant steps which need to be taken for them to live up to expectations.

If they start 2-4, 1-5, etc, then of course Dorsey and his staff should take heat. But nobody will be calling for his job in any serious manner.

You can both be critical of his moves and not call for a regime change at the same time.

Yeah, seems like hes good a targeting the skill positions, pass rusher, qb, and corners. Seems to be lacking with offensive lineman, defensive tackles and maybe linebacker?

It could be a lot worse. I trust he'll see holes in the roster and try to fix them, but not much they can do during the season.

But he let go of Orson Charles and Darren Fells, who were both very cheap and useful. And replaced them with his guys, who they apparently already don't trust.

Wasn't Orson Charles flapping his gums to reporters? Can't quantify that, I guess.

Is this serious? Charles and Fells. Let’s talk about the watch. Jesus

Let's also be fair: Ricky Seals Jones was inactive because it's all a numbers game and is likely still working on the playbook. Kerridge is on the IR, and Harris got hurt in game. That leaves Njoku and Pharoah Brown, who is likely getting cut as soon as RSJ is up to speed. So the position is in flux, leading to less stability behind Njoku.

Plus, Kitchens is pretty frustrated with all the Njoku drops dating back to last year. If he was more consistent catching the ball it's less of an issue.

Yeah, guys. We lost by 30 points and need to consider a regime change because our 2nd and 3rd string TE spots weren't adequately addressed in the off season...

Jesus Christ we need a win just so we get reason and logic back in the mix here.

Thank God my tongue in cheek jab managed to spur more conversation than listening to you parade yourself as the moral police of all things fandom.

Which is fine, except TE was a position where you HAD to change anything.

We got worse at G and S, but that was because we brought in Odell, which is a move you had to do. But TE was a position where we could've run ti back. Instead, we got seemingly worse.
