Indians vs White Sox

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can we just admit 2016 was our chance and it was blown?
You can- I won't. That team never should have been in that spot, Kluber and the Bullpen was running on fumes, and that lineup.... go back and look at it. Our best power hitter was Mike fucking Napoli. Had the Tribe won that, it would have been an epic choke job by that Cubs team, which was better in just about every way.

Now, the missed opportunity was 2017- THAT team should have rampaged to the World Series. That team sucked a fat one in ther playoffs.

I did as soon as we lost. The Indians aren’t the type of organization to sustain this high level of play by adding pieces when needing them. They tried and failed miserably with EE.
Trade the big guns while we can and hope we can put something together in 2022.
This team is in position to win 90+ games and compete for the Central again next season but, sure, blow it up for no reason. Makes sense!

Is it a full moon? Too much dipshittery in here tonight.

Blow it up and trade everyone because they won 90+ games in a season riddled with injuries.

Honestly, fuck off with these takes.

Trash ass fake fans.

Sad ending to the season, but they really did have to overcome a lot of shit this year. Will keep on pullin for the Tribe till the end of my days.

It is not a full moon. The Tribe is getting bent overnight by the Chi Sox. It is not my fault. But, blame me if you want. But , the Tribe is getting bent over by the Chi Sox. They are done. But, the apologists will spin this as a great season.

How small is your dick that you come in trolling a message board?

And shitty fans will still be shitty long after this game is over.

If you think 93+ wins for a team that:
- Missed their 2x Cy Young ace for pretty much the whole season
- Traded their #2 starter
- Had their #3 starter get cancer
- Had their #4 starter miss two months
- Had their best player miss the first month
- Had their second best player in a terrible slump for two months and then miss pretty much all of September

...is bad, then that’s on you. We also lost our all star left fielder that we’ve had for almost a decade to free agency too. 93 wins almost every single season is a wild card birth, sucks that we could legitimately win 97 and still be left out.

Here's a short list of players that missed a month or more due to injury this season:

Jason Kipnis
Tyler Naquin
Danny Salazar
Fransico Lindor
Jose Ramirez
Corey Kluber
Carlos Carrasco
Bradley Zimmer
Mike Clevenger
Nick Goody
Dan Ortero

Our IL this year is like an All-Star team. It's too bad we couldn't stay healthy.. all things considered, our record is impressive

Edit: I want to add players we cut/sent down this season that got way too much playing time

Hanley Ramirez
Carlos Gonzolez
Eric Stamets
Max Moroff
Bobby Bradley
Leonys Martin

96 wins?

You sure changed your tone from a literal two weeks ago when you said this:

I don’t think I could be pissed about it. The Tribe should win over 90 games. If that isn’t good enough to get in, at some point you just give the other teams credit.

Winning over 90 games and not getting in was fine for you then. Now anybody defending a 93+ win team for having a good season is an apologist.

Edited due to personal attack. - Ben
