Nice column on Brandon Knight at cleveland.com yesterday. He's gotten stronger in the off-season and feels he's back to where he was when he was good enough to get a 5-year, $70 million contract from Phoenix after averaging 17-18 ppg for three consecutive seasons. Reportedly he was the star at the pre-season player workouts.
Last year with the Cavs his offensive rating (points produced per 100 possessions) was the highest of his career according to basketball-reference.com. This season he's supposedly stronger, quicker, and healthier based on some new training methods he adopted in the off-season. (His defense sucked, though).
If that's the case we should be able to move him at some point for a decent return like we did with Burks last year. If we can trade a healthy and rejuvenated Knight along with Thompson, Clarkson, and Henson this season we could end up with a major haul of draft picks and young talent (like when we got Clarkson and Nance from the Lakers).
Sexton has also done some bulking up.
