2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How was that a catch LOL

He or the Steelers won't announce it but he won't ever play again. He is a free agent next year too.

The videos showing his recovery have been somewhat inspirational but that image of his legs barely functioning as he was just walking off the field was crazy. It's like how can a guy go from that to playing in an NFL game in a year? Insane.

Beats me. You can see the ball move, then get knocked out. Just like the third pick on LJ the ball is seen hitting the ground.

This is just horrific officiating. I don't like it, because we got to live with these fucking idiots too.

Putting in more rules doesn't change much. These guys are bad at their jobs.

The replay officials must have bet on the Steelers

Pat Shurmur coming a great play-caller is not something I foresaw after his tenure with the Browns. But damn, lots of motion, creative blocking on screens, and giving his rookie QB time to throw the ball down the field. They've been impressive today, even if they do get blown out. Giants have some nice future pieces. The team just has no receivers and is relying on a rookie QB and third-string RB. At some point, it does not matter how good the play-calling is.

Speaking of, Peppers started today at MLB. He has a sack, a forced fumble, and two pass deflections. Kid is super talented.

I can't believe Colt McCoy is still in the league. That's got to be a crime.

I picked him up in one of my dynasty leagues because Tracy Walker was on a bye this week and he's filled in nicely. Got 11.5 points so far.

CMC is the best RB in the league

Yeah, I obviously support the OBJ trade, but Peppers is a pro-bowl caliber defensive player. He was a good add for the Giants.

Falcons should really fired Quinn after the season. Pretty evident he's a terrible HC.

Yeah, I'd just rather have an elite WR than an elite safety. Our defense hasn't really missed him much, but we saw how good OBJ can make our offense even in a game where he only caught a couple of passes. He just has that gravity to him that draws in defenders and opens things up for everyone else.

Agreed... Peppers is going to have a long career as a great safety, but he will never have the same individual impact on a game that OBJ did against Baltimore, and that was not a good performance. An elite WR just has more gravity and game-changing ability unless the safety is Ed Reed.
