I think the Cavs will give a Sexton and Garland backcourt a long time to try to make it work. I think they will give Sexton a chance to run the second unit even when he does start. Ultimately I think for a Garland/KPJ backcourt to happen, I think KPJ will have to beat out Sexton. He might end up beating out Cedi and take the SF spot before taking the SG spot from Sexton.
 
Being able to watch Cavs basketball again just reminds me of how much I love Cavs basketball. This is so great.

Already love this team - they may not be good (yet!) but they'll certainly be fun. Best sign of the night so far was the way the fluidity of the game changed as soon as Beilein sent Garland out there with the starters in the second quarter. Looks like his passing and court vision is a super undervalued part of his game - saw a lot out of him that you normally see glimpses of in a lot of promising young stars.

You may be right. I don't have a problem with Collin starting, I like him, I just think you should stagger him and Darius more. They can still play together a bunch, I just don't want to get killed defensively.

Well, when you have Tristan Thompson bringing the ball up the court... kinda difficult for him to have assists.

This is a pick-up game. Sexton is giving A grade effort and his game looks smooth. I hope him and Garland get along better than Kyrie/Dion. The Sexland experiment is going to be a nice pace of fast and slow.
 
Sexton has no vision and Knight is kinda ass.
 
Cedi has a bad habit of leaving guys open from 3, hope its coached out of him. Good that beilein is talking to him about it mid game
