Contractually Obligated: Alfonzo McKinnie

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yet it still seems possible that he claims the starting SF spot by January. He can play "NBA replacement level" basketball, which is better than the Cavs got from the SF spot last year.

I'm less optimistic about someone's stats from GS translating. Playing on that team is like shooting in a gym by yourself. Guys on our team don't have that kind of Gravity. Cedi would practically be an allstar on GS.

Every year people are like "How did GS get this young rookie in the 2nd who is playing out of his mind" then when they can't keep that guy he goes to another team and sits ta the end of the bench. Look at Mcgee even.

He played NBA replacement level bb on GSW, which isnt saying much. I highly doubt he would have looked good on the Cavs.

McGee is the exception. He looks great on LA. Same.

Not as good as GS. Lebron makes him look passable. That is just my point. roleplayers look like stars when the play with people who draw all teh attention.

Not really.

Almost same advanced stats(PER 22.3 compared to 21.8)and TS% (641 compared to 634) while playing x2.5 the minutes. 12, 7.5, 2 compared to 4.8,2.6, 0.9

Agree to disagree Mcgee sucks

He's a decent defensive player and a deterrent when playing in the paint due to his shot blocking skills. He is down right terrible on offense outside of easy dunks and catching lobs though.

Lol, he is going to be instrumental to the Lakers. Wait and see.
McGee is much better than you guys make it seem. He would instantly be our best big by a mile.

He would be our best defensive big. But he's not better then KLove especially on our team. With Lakers and Warriors he had offensive fire power all around him. If he was here he wouldn't have other players around him who get doubled and leave him with a easy dunk or lob. He's a good role player. But hes down right terrible as an offensive player.

By Big I meant Center.

There was no offensive firepower n the Lakers beside Lebron. He is simply a good PnR threat and he has developed his offensive arsenal. He has a great hook and can now shoot the corner 3.

HE would have helped just because the Cavs legit don't have any good lob threat. That would have hoped our ball handlers.

Down right terrible is Bismarck biyombo. McGee has a Plus OBPM, high TS% and PER. That doesn't reflect as a poor offensive player.

For all the dumb things McGee does he is still a decent player and borderline starter

McGee is 50 cents on body/skill and 10 cents on brain. That's a hell of a lot to give up on a championship team. Not sure I'd want him on the Cavs this year.

I really like this kid. He’s a high-effort defender and has a decent dribble.

I thought he really acted like glue guy. Was I. The right spots and kept the ball moving. Made good decisions when to pass and shoot. I like him in the rotation

The sooner the Cavs trade Clarkson...

When he is gone I think the bench unit becomes Delly/Garland/McKinney/KPJ/Nance. It does two things: first, it lets McKinney play more; second, it lets Garland get more minutes where he is *the* guy.
