This reminds me of when Kyrie demanded a trade away from here- Sony thinks they can win away from the MCU but they will be in for a rude awakening.

On a positive note- who owns the rights to the Asperger's MJ? Disney or Sony? Please say Disney.
Disney blew a 3-1 lead?

I’m also curious who owns the rights to Miles Morales. His version of Spider-Man was created well after the Sony deal and was part of the Ultimates comic line. They may have to give him a different name other then Spider-Man. If Marvel/Disney does they could always push that character.
Seeing as Into the Spiderverse was done completely by Sony, I'm going to assume it's Sony. Knowing that the deal Sony got has them access to like 900 some characters.

This thing is gonna get worked out. There's too much money on the table for both parties.

I really hope you're right. Seems like a lot of pressure on both parties to get something done with the public reaction to the news.

Spidey is my favorite, and I'll still watch anything they put out, but I just want to see him stay in the MCU.

They announced a bunch of new shows for Disney+ including Moon Knight and She Hulk.

I saw rumors that Spider-Man is back. Hoping it’s true.

Getting at least 2 more MCU movies with Spider-Man.

A proper Spider-Man 3 and one other unannounced film.

Silly Sony.

Sounds like they’ll have their own Spider-verse with Holland in it.

For 3, or the unannounced movie?

I've heard 3 will be a story we've never seen before. I figured the unannounced movie would be something with the Fantastic 4.

I am still expecting Marvel and Sony to try to work out something more long-term in the future. I don't think Marvel uses Spider-Man in a future team up movie if they were just planning on writing the character out of the MCU in Spider-Man 3.

Also think Sony is going to have a rude awakening in regards to their Spidey-Villain-Verse they are trying to do on their own with the upcoming Morbius movie. I'm a big Marvel comics and Spider-man fan but a Morbius movie has to be one of the least exciting ideas to come out of Sony and I don't think most non-comic fans even know who the character is. It's also releasing mid-summer right after a Dwayne Johnson/Disney probable blockbuster. It wouldn't shock me if it was closer to a Dark Phoenix performance at the box office.

Marvel just announced that the X-Men, Deadpool and FF are now officially in the MCU.

No details given, but some word has leaked out of mutants figuring heavily in Phase 5.

But, more importantly, this frees up three of Marvel's best villains for use: Magneto, Galactus and the one, the only Dr. Doom.

So we might now be able to up the total number of good Fantastic Four movies to....1.

My sister texted me the other day and said she wanted to start watching Avengers movies and was wondering which ones to skip. She also said the only ones she had seen were Black Panther, Captain Marvel and...Wonder Woman....sigh

After some contemplation, I thought Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3 and Incredible Hulk were worth skipping. I was going to say The Dark World and Age of Ultron as well, but then decided against it.

If you were giving this advice, are there any you would recommend to skip?

Even though they aren't in the upper echelon of MCU films, Dark World and AoU are actually two of the more important ones in terms of furthering the Infinity saga.
